Hi All,
Its been a while, Just to up date you a little!
The wedding planning has been on a go slow recently, since we have booked meetings with cake people and florists for when we take our trip to Orlando! And yes... we will be going to disney! And yes I will get tons of pictures!
The reason for the go slow... I have been on short term supply at a special secondary school, AND they have advertised 2 permanant posts! I is teaching PSHE - (Kind of health and wellbeing) and ICT Teacher! - Wont be going for this one though! lol
Any way the application needs to be in soon... so I havent forgotten you just a little busy!
DF is good, we actually had a BBQ last night since the weather has perked up! This was nice! We are both really looking forward to our much needed holiday in something like... 5/6 weeks! woop woop!

I understand the slow going (we just pushed our date back 10 months, so I'm taking a break to focus on school). Weddings are important, but life is important, too.

I have applied for the job! Now all I have to do is sit back and wait!

Any way... I am poorly tonight cough and nasty cold so am feeling sorry for myself and doing a bit of planning to cheer me up!
A more exciting update... our trip to Florida is only 30 days away! woop woop!
AND... I think I have found us a PERFECT Photographer... she sounds so fun, and lovely!

Final meeting with reception hall/caterer - overview and tell them names of florist, band or DJ, and baker (just in case!)
Final meeting with videographer - overview, give him/her music and map
Final meeting with photographer - tell him/her about any specific pictures you want, choose album style and color, and give him/her map
Final conversation with band - overview of times & special songs, mail him/her/them map
Mail directions to limo driver and confirm times
Meet with rehearsal dinner caterers for final details
Print programs
Print rehearsal dinner maps (extras in case guests forget map that came with dinner invite)
Finalize and print list of duties for each person involved
Print itinerary of wedding day (copies for all at rehearsal)
Print readings and spare copies
Confirm nail/hair appointments
Print list of reception dances for MC/band/DJ
Final wedding gown fitting
Affix poems to disposable cameras
Confirm hotel reservations for wedding night
Confirm hotel reservations for attendants
Determine personal wedding morning itinerary (time to wake up, ... time to leave for church, etc.)
Groom's hair appointment
Submit wedding announcement to local newspaper for publishing day or weekend of wedding
Move belongings to new home
One Week in Advance
Make bride's emergency kit
Pack for honeymoon
Get traveler's checks for honeymoon; exchange money to foreign currency now if desired
Fill out first page of guest book
Buy spare hose
Fill birdseed roses
Remind attendants about rehearsal time
Take marriage certificate to minister/officiant
Give best man the clergyman's fee (if to be payed day of ceremony, otherwise pay this week)
Finish centerpieces for guest tables at reception if it's a last minute duty (i.e. need fresh flowers, etc.)
Give final guest count to reception facility and/or caterer
Remind groom/fathers/ushers/groomsmen to pick up tuxedos on day before wedding
Ensure delivery of flower arrangements for wedding rehearsal dinner have been made
Day Before Wedding
Pick up wedding gown and veil
Pick up tux
Take favors, disposable cameras, centerpieces, cake knife and server, toasting glasses, CD's, and birdseed roses to reception hall
Nail appointment
Give mom lipstick to keep in purse on wedding day for bride (or prepare bride's purse)
Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner
Morning of Wedding
Bride's hair appointment
Give groom's wedding band to Maid of Honor and bride's wedding band to Best Man prior to ceremony
Relax and let it all sink in!!
Leave yourself off the things to do list today if there are any remaining items. You need to relax and enjoy the whole day, and in the long run, you won't remember the little things.
The list is really quite big and half way through... I stopped putting bullet points!

Hope everything is going well for everyone! Planning and generally!
So, I thought I would share pictures of my 1st DIY project! Most of you already know I have been havig issues finding the perfect hair grip/clip/slide!?!
Already see where im going with this! lol
Any way... I have started to make my own! Hair SLIDE! and if it turns our good then I will make something simalar for the BMs! What do you think!?
Appolgies for making the picture so big! Also... Let me know what you think? I nkow it needs making a little bigger but I will get my sister to take pictures of it in action! lol

2 Things really! My sister said my hair comb looks made? I know it looks made but I still thought it was nice enough for my wedding!? What do you think?

I told a friend to look on our wedding website - She couldnt remember the address so she put our names into google! and everything came up! EVEN my dress! So I have tweeked a few things to make it harder to find! lol I really dont want greg to see the PJ!

Obviously these are only samples, the 1st draft and the information on them will be included when we eventually set a date for the wedding... which we will be doing THIS MAYYYY!!!! Your invites are supercute. I'm the shoes, you should def go for them if they make you happy! Remember, it's your day, your tootsies, you have to wear them, not anybody else. If someone has an issue, they'll get over it! The comb you made is pretty. If you don't feel too confident, make another, make 20! Practice makes perfect I'm probably missing a million other things I meant to touch on but my brain is fried so my apologies <--me all morning on the dis reading PJ's instead of cleaning
