Hope the planning is going well!? Only a little update, a shoe related one no less! hehe

Well... below I have taken a very sneeky picture of the potentials! (Apperently I was not allowed!)

hehe Any way... they are simalar to the ones I love, they didnt I have my size to try on in the exact pair. The ones I like are peep toe and slightly pink.

So... what do you think?

Ok, disbrides...

I need some advice. My very old best friend is a lovely person, we have known each other since we were about 13, shes a few years younger than me and I love her to death. However, she is not the most reliable person in the world! lol bless her! (She knows this by the way) Not turning up on time... or not at all. That kind of thing.

I would have LOVED her to have been a bridesmaid on our special day, but ... (and its a big one) DF thinks she would let me down and probably not come. I understand this... (Flights and money) but my question is... How can I involve her *LOTS* ??? I have told her she MUST wear pink on the day to match the bridesmaids. She knows how important she is to me...to be there... but I want her to have something? You know?

I think its nice that the 2 bridesmaids I have are both sisters... my sister and DFs sister! But maybe a honary BM on the day? lol Please let me know what you think?

Ooh, that's a tricky one. I think it depends on if she is likely to let you down at the last minute or if she will give you firm plans far enough in advance.

What about having her do a reading? If you could find someone to be a stand-in if she's a no-show and wouldn't be offended they they are the alternate, could that be an option?

That is a tough situation and that is why I'm not having bridesmaids. Somehow I attract flacky people. I agree with the PP about doing a reading, or how about something like handing out programs or toss flowers, if you're doing those. Or even just ask her to be in the room while you're getting ready and get her a little gift to say thanks. Good luck!

Well... Guess what.... Tomorrow we are flying to FLORIDA!!! I'm so excited I can't tell you! Lol we can't wait to go to publics and feel the heat! I'm so looking forward to being with DF for some quality relaxing time!

Any way... I'm just reading some old wedding magazines to get me in the mood! Hehe and before you ask I have already packed a brand new read! Hehe

btw I think it's lovely that you want to include your oldest best friend, you never know, she may suprise and take it all very seriously and do you proud. I too have people like that in my life and sometimes on big occasions they pull through lol. x
