F! Dining Pkg Timing issues

First, let me say F! was a top requested item for DD18 (senior trip).

There's an option to book the F! Dining Pkg, but its only for the second showing at 10:30, on a PM EMH night & I don't really want to use EMH time to watch F!

There's also an option to watch illuminations & travel by boat to watch F! at 10:30 on a non-EMH night for either park. BUT, its our last park night so any weather issues could jeopardize the show.

I'm disappointed because the ADR being offered is for the second (10:30) show only and the WDW website specifically says the ADR Pkg will be ONLY for the first show on nights there are two, which clearly isn't true.

WWYD? Any other suggestions? Do you think all the first show ADRs are gone & I can keep searching for one to open up or have the gone to second shows only?

Why not just do it standby or try to get a day-of FP+ for it?

Could try for same day FP.

If we're standby anyway, I'd probably prefer after illuminations than on an EMH night, may not be DD's choice though, really trying to save the time of standby, don't want to go an hour early.
