Eye2Eye WISH shirt proposal

I'd be happy to be a guinea pig the one w/ the castle and stuff on it too.

Would there be an option where we could possibly get a plain one as Wendy mentioned AND one w/ the design on it or is that too much trouble and too confusing and it puts us back to square one??? :confused3

I was just thinking if this company gives us similar options to Race Ready(as far as style, fit...) and we could get a plain AND a graphic, then we would then have the 2 company options of eye2eye and alert shirt. If newbies wanted a shirt, they go could directly to eye2eye to get them to have them in time for various races. This cuts down on the very much appreciated hard work of those who organize the shirt orders and it wouls also only give 2 variations of the LIME instead of 3 (alert shirt, race ready and eye2eye). eye2eye also carries a larger array of sizes to help fit more of us.

OR...for all the reasons listed above, if the majority is opposted to the graphic design, we could still go w/ the plain option to offer it those who need to order throughout the year if they miss alertshirt orders...especially since eye2eye offers mens and ladies fit instead of just a universal shirt...

anyway...just thinking out loud here...

I was still helping Bill with a design...we have been doing some tweeking trying to keep the artwork true to the original wish artwork

I spent a lot of time looking at their website the other day - and it appears that the shirts will run around 19.99 (there is a $2 price break with larger orders but once paypal fees and extra shipping are added - I can't see this being a good option - they are willing to ship to everyone) and has a lot of different styles available - and we can get them in kids sizes up to 3X -

There really is no reason that we could not have the castle shirt and a plain shirt on file...

some mentioned that when training or not at Disney - they would love to have a wish shirt in a different color - this also could be easily handled...

I found out from them today that they like things in layers - so the background, then the artwork...so there would be a large amount of room to play around with the designs..

there is also no additional fee to get your name on your shirt - or WISH printed on the sleeve...the options with them are really amazing and pricing does not increase...

with individual orders - they say they ship within 3-5 days...then add shipping time...so people can order year round and be able to have the shirts in time for the event they want without having to wait for group orders...

I like the castle on the front and the other parks on the back. Let me know when they are ready to order and I'll get one or two.

I haven't talked to Bill in a couple of days but this is where we currently are on design ideas...

for the castle shirt we can do the characters or runners or just blank like on the other ones...the goal in the we're inspired banner was to help the WISH letters stand out...I used a current wish shirt picture to get the color but I am pretty sure that if we sent them a sample or if I could get the color hex code of the safety green then we could get a very close match...

at this point we are still open to design ideas...there was some desire for a 3rd shirt with a different background which brought on the camouflage design...

The first set gets our (dennyha, missyha, utguitarist27) votes! Those are WAY COOL!

I guess at this point we just need to get all the artwork to eye2eye and order a sample..

I am hoping that there would be enough space between the wish banner and the characters for a bib - but I am going to ask them to see what the spacing comes up to on a shirt...

I can ask them to add the WISH onto one sleeve and we can put people's names on them as well...the most logical spot is the sleeve but for those who go with sleevless I am not sure where the name could go...

I just want to thank Kate for all her hard work on designing these. As we tried to explain from the start, our goal was/is to keep the spirit of the original WISH shirt, with some modernization for the "rebel"-types. Thats the reason, among other things, I/we shied away from multi-color graphics or any radical logo/motto changes.

Great job Kate! I think those changes really reflect the spirit of the design and I too particularly like the 1st one. The camo is kind of cool too though:) and the last one would allow the 'original' shirt to be ordered in a broader range of sizes which I don't need but appreciate the availability for those that do.

I love the first and the third design but one thing that I think would be really cool is to have the fab five on all the shirts. Thank you for all your hard work Kate.

The best way to think of the shirts are as a front disney design - a front non-disney design - and a back design that can go on any of the three backgrounds...

so if someone wants the fab five on a different background that can easily be done!!

Kate- These are absolutely fantastic! I will definitely buy at least one shirt with Design #1. With regard to the person's name, it will need to be on the front so that people along the course can read it and yell out support. :thumbsup2 Thank you so much for your hard work and creativity!

Kate - I cant thank you enough - you are one special woman!! :pixiedust:

I think names could also go above the WISH -

I also think the way you highlighted the We're Inspired to Stay Healthy is strong enough that would help keep the Make a Wish foundation separate - thanks so much for continuing to work on this, you truly have a gift!!

I found dimensions for sizing on the website but silly me was thinking that was the design area - but really it was the whole shirt area - if I leave spacing as it is - it wouldn't all be on the shirt...

we can't avoid that our bibs will probably hide the fab five - BUT if you wear it low you could probably put it below it...

so here is an example of more realistic spacing with my name on it...

I'll be glad to put one of my shirts in the mail to them, if that would help. Just PM me with the name and address of the person who needs to see it. "ANSI safety lime" is an American standard (American National Standards Institute) so maybe they don't have any lying around Ontario? I wish I had one of the lime RR shirts and I'd send them one of those too -- since they can print it on either color, we might as well have both to take a look at.

I saw that they had a lot of wicking fabrics listed -- which one are we going with? (Or again, I guess we can choose whatever appeals to the individual shopper if all shirts are the same color and design.)

Okay, I want one!!!! I love it. Shouldn't Mickey be chasing Minnie though. My mama told me I wasn't supposed to chase the boys but let them chase me instead. :lmao: Poor long suffering Minnie. I love her. :cutie:

I'm kidding, of course. I love the Fab 5 on the shirt.
