EYE2EYE shirts - Designs and Information

My Sports Authority has Body Glide. It was hard to find however.

Dick's also has it.

Would they sell it at the expo?

Sports Authority carries it, look on the shelf displays right near the cash register.

You can find it at most running stores, and race expos have it as well.

I am crossing my fingers that the shirts went out today!!
If anyone hears anything or calls, post it here. If not I may try to call them tomorrow after work.

:wizard:

I called to order today and was told this afternoon that the shirts would for sure be sent out today.

I was also told that they were being couriered due to the delay.

As I am in Canada, I suspect I may be one of the first to receive the shirts. I will certainly post an update as soon as I receive mine.:)

Debbie - I know tehy have body glide at teh MArathon expo, but the Minnie is much smaller. I can't remember. If you can't find it and will be at teh meeet, PM me and I can bring a sample pack of sprts wax with me, which is the same thing. You chould eb ok, but you just never know..... Tanks and sleeveless tend to be teh most fickle.

Our Sports Authority does not carry Body Glide either. I cannot find it locally, but I generally pick up some at the expo's. I have seen it at all the Disney expo's so far, I understand that the Minnie expo is smaller, but you might still find it.

Stacey...You can always do a bright green lime mickey head on the front/back of a white or black shirt. I know rumblytumbly has a lime mickey head in her photobucket account.

I'm making some shirts for our trip too! How fun!

Stacie

So, from what a couple of you have said, our shirts were supposed to be couriered 4/23/08. Has anyone received their shirt yet? I only have two more LONG walks after today (Monday and Thursday) and really want to try out my shirt! I ordered a sleeveless and a regular t-shirt. I've never walked in a sleeveless and can't find body glide (will probably just go ahead and wait for the expo to pick up the body glide). But, I really wanted to try out the sleeveless with the body glide BEFORE the race. Don't want to try anything NEW on race day. So, I may end up racing in the regular t-shirt and wearing the sleeveless to the Meet on Saturday (4:30pm at POR Food Court).

Let's all keep our fingers crossed that we receive our shirts momentarily!!

i called Friday and finally reached Mark (Kevin said all shirts were shipping to MCO!! - ummm, NO!!)

Mark said that they are shipping yesterday (Friday) via courier and should get them by Wednesday.

that's really cutting it close. :scared1:

oooooo, that is cutting it very close!! :scared1:

I am leaving Friday. I have no worries about the shirt. I have worn event shirts to the events (I know that is a big no, no but I do it sometimes) without ever wearing them before I just have been lucky that they never really bother me that much. I do use body glide and vasaline for chaffing areas, but shirt openings have never really gotten chaffed. I hope it gets here, but if not I have a backup NB lime colored shirt I can wear instead.

I guess this place got way too much business in which they are just not that ready to deal with. If the shirts look great, then we can order more and not be so rushed with getting them.

I hope everyone remembers that the original plan with respect to the eye2eye shirts was that the project was back-burnered for a little while as there were two other shirt orders going on (RaceReady and AlertShirt) for people who wanted shirts for the Minnie Marathon weekend, as well as a hat/visor order. We then went back and worked on finalizing designs and options with eye2eye with the plan being to possibly use this company in the future as a source for shirts that people could order when needed. It was not anticipated that these shirts would be available in time for Minnie weekend.

Also remember that these are not stock items of eye2eye as each shirt is made to order.

I hope everyone who is looking to get one or more of these for Minnie does, and it sounds like eye2eye is making an effort to do so. If the shirts do make it and are as hoped, please express your appreciation to eye2eye as such a quick turn around (1 to 2 weeks) for custom made shirts with delivery would, IMHO, be excellent service.

As one of the people who dealt with eye2eye, I felt obligated to remind people of the above.

Thanks for the reminder, Bill. I know they have been very helpful everytime I have called. I would love to have the shirts by the time I leave for WDW on Thursday, but if it does not happen, we did get the Race Ready shirts and I have them packed. So for this race, we can be identified as WISHers. We each have 2 of the Race Ready shirts, so we can wear them while we are scream teaming for the 5K, and for our race.

Well, I've been a WISHer for less than one month, so I didn't know about the "original plan." But, eye2eye kept giving information that it would be no problem to receive our shirts before the minnie. When Mark sent me my order form, he said the shirts would be mailed out the week of 4/21. So, I'm hoping to get mine by Friday (I don't leave until Saturday morning). If I don't receive by Friday, I'll be racing around to find something in lime green! Even if you can't recognize me, I'll be able to recognize you!!

same here... i was assured i'd get the shirts before the race - 'the week before' even ... that's the only reason im kind of not happy ... but we'll see ...

this time next week, the MM will be a great memory! :yay:

Yeah - I guess I wld have the same comments.

When I spoke to them last Wednesday, I was told *for sure* the shirts would be sent by courier that day.

It is now almost end of day Monday and I still don't have mine. I am in Canada and probably one of the closest WISH members to eye2eye. There is no courier service that I know of that would take this long to deliver.:rotfl:

I guess that is the problem. Not that they couldn't get things organized for the Minnie...but that they continued to give assurances of things that they don't seem to have lived up to.

That said, I am sure I will receive my shirt before I leave so it is no problem for me. I just hope someone who had been promised a shirt and was counting on it doesn't end up "shirtless" for the Minnie!

And I am really hoping when we see the shirts we will all love them so much that any initial inconvenience will be forgotten!

I'm so excited to get one!
When somebody gets theirs, could they please
post if they run true to size or what you would
normally wear.
I'm not sure about the size/length.
thanks!!!

Has anyone received their shirt yet? I wish Mark would have said he couldn't do it in time instead of making empty promises. I hope we all receive our shirts in time. I know some of you are leaving Thursday (I'm not driving up until Saturday morning). I sent Mark an e-mail yesterday, asking if he had shipped my order yet and he sent a reply late last night. The e-mail said "see attached." Well, the attachment was an ORDER FORM. What??? I paid on paypal 4/16/08 for two shirts. It really seems like he's waiting until he gets ALL shirts done before he ships any of them. That's strange. And, it doesn't look promising if the person from Canada hasn't even received theirs yet. Also, I wonder what "courier" means? I thought that when someone sent something by "courier" that it mean's overnight mail. I guess not. I'm a new WISHer and I really want my shirts!!! :sad2:

i feel the same way. i would have been fine, but Mark really got my hopes up "No problem" ... hmmm.

i just emailed him for the tracking number, we'll see if i get a response.

Does anyone know what "by courier" means? Is it like Fed Ex or UPS? I need to know to be able to tell my neighbor to look out for a package, as I am assuming it will not come until after I leave on Thurs. I do not want a package to sit on my front porch for a week while I am gone, (especially with our wind-it might not be there when I get back!).

I'd like to know what "by courier" means too. Probably involved a horse. Someone previously was told that all shirts were going out 4/23/08 "by courier." Well, if that was true (Fed Ex or UPS), we would have them by now. I paid $48 for my two shirts and now I'm wondering if will ever receive them. If he just used Post Office Priority Mail (from Canada), well from past experience, that could even take 7-10 days (not always the 2-3 days the post office will tell you). We should have all received e-mails that told us when our shirts were shipped. I never even received a confirmation e-mail from Mark (besides the paypal receipt). :sad2:
