I don't know about usually. Our 7 nt Alaskan cruise on the Wonder had vanilla/chocolate and the other machine switched off blueberry/banana, strawberry/banana, and pineapple coconut/?. Strawberry/banana was more often than the others though.I have only been on 2 cruises but both time they only had one flavor other than chocolate/vanilla. And that other flavor was the same for all days. Do they usually switch? One was a 7 day cruise. And both cruises it was the same flavor. Strawberry/banana.
Yes, but take heart! You can always order a mickey bar via room service anytime you want!are there times that the ice cream or soda stations are closed? can I have ice cream for breakfast, get a soda at 3 am?
Just like the pools, there is really no good reason for the ice cream station not to be open 24 hours. They can close it briefly for cleaning and to change flavors at some point during the overnight hours, but then it should re-open. Same thing with the pools/hot tubs.

I disagree. I believe they limited the hours on the ice cream station because of the manpower needed to keep the area clean. That area needs constant attention. I would hate that one individual had to work overnight just in case a passenger had an ice cream craving at 3 am.
The pools close when the lifeguards are off duty. I don't think that's unreasonable.Just like the pools, there is really no good reason for the ice cream station not to be open 24 hours. I think it has less to do with our society and more to do with DCL being a family-oriented line. Safety is a hallmark of its brand. Leaving the adult pools & hot tubs open at night without a lifeguard would mean leaving them open to a child or teen who might wander in & drown, as an unattended child could easily ignore the adult area signs if no staff were present. While I disagree, I am willing to relent when it comes to the family/kids pools. However, for the adults-only Quiet Cove pool/hot tubs, it's totally unreasonable. An unfortunate consequence of an overly-litigious society, I guess, where personal responsibility is a thing of the past. If adults want to go sit in a hot tub at midnight, they should be able to do so (especially since there is so little else to do at that time).
