i thought the actual movie wasn't that bad. not this "omg groundbreaking earth shattering movie" but it was cute.

Ok, I'm back with some information. It is all speculation as to whether the Asian costume Johnny is wearing will be in the next movie or not.

It seems the controversy started on Everything Johnny website forum. A "Disney rep" says it wasn't from POTC 3. Some speculate it was a costume test. I saw something else on keeptothecode.com website forum but am not able to locate it now. The JoBlo.com website also discussed the photos. When the first ones were posted, they were from a distance and in profile. Later photos surfaced that obviously are Johnny, but again, I've not been able to find any other chatter about them. Some feel they are real, others think they've been Photoshoped.

They are interesting pictures to be sure.

Ok..you got my attention Mary..where are these from then?? It is not a good look for him that is for sure...

Hey BlueBerry Thanks for remembering!!!!

You can feel sorry for me now. I thought hubby had it all under control what to get me for the bday..you recall, calendar, music and pc game..all Capt
related of course.
What do I get? I do get the Calendar..hubby doing good.
I get a CD...totally different music and very questionable whether i would even like it.
I get a dvd, another singer who i do like, but not the kind I would sit and watch a dvd over and over of, and I already have just about every song of his on cd or record..I understand hubby trying for this one.
But now get this..packages all look just about perfect, so as I am unwrapping them , i think I am getting the items I thought/hoped I was getting. Can you imagine the look on my face as I open the 2 totally unrelated, barely cool items? Needless to say Hubby is crushed and I am looking for receipts. Good thing we have been married 11 yrs or this could be serious!
On a good note mom gave me some cash and I have just placed an order with Amazon for the stuff I really wanted! I was also wise today and went on Disney and ordered the DVD for DMC...I darn well am not going to sit around and hope hubby gets it for me for Christmas!

and to make this reading more on topic for the others..here is what I wanted to do to poor hubby this eve.

I have gotten to the point that I am yelling at the TV! Why dont they ever have this stuff on film! (last night they were lucky they caught something on film and recorded some music on tape)

I believe in the stuff wholeheartedly!

I actually was in a "ghost hunting" group last year! We did a few places that were supposed to be haunted. Spent the night at an old fort in Philly- Fort Mifflin. Got some orbs- but sometimes they are questionable. I didnt stay b/c believe it or not- the "technical" part of the ghost hunting ruined it for me! I just wanted to experience something and not use any equipment.

I left the group. But still hoping for an encounter!

They DO look like costume test shots. They are just a little too posed to be movie stills.

But again, I was in this buisness for 8 years. I worked with advanced Photoshop on a regular basis. I have seen a lot of Photoshopped pics before. This one doesn't look like it was photoshopped to me. The blurry edges that are seen around Sparrows figure are the effects of computer compression for web viewing, not from a cut and paste photoshop job. If they are photoshopped the person who did it is VERY talented, as all the telltale signs that i know are saying real photo to me.

I didnt say I didnt like it- actually I felt so bad for the 2- they loved each other so much and it was hard for them.... but I wouldnt really describe it to someone as cute....i think it was more......sad.
