Just read that on the Jack 1, 2, 3 thread. I didn't realize you don't get a chance to meet him at WDW.

Yep, I get to touch. This was taken in August.

He was intrigued by my shiny pearls and kept calling me luv as he was trying to convince me that he needed my pearls. He's good with the voice and mannerisms, just doesn't have the look.

Now, wonder who I'll run into this weekend and what kind of mischief he'll cause (or is that me causing the mischief??)

I didn't realize that you could take photos with Jack in DL! I was only aware of the pics at Castaway Cay!

I think Mr. Depp should visit DL and take a photo with his double.

Okay, okay. Perhaps I should say one of his doubles in the flesh. And I would say preferably one at WDW. When I'm there. And in the vicinity. And looking at him.

I figure I should be detailed when I'm talking to the universe. That way I won't be at Epcot while he's visiting his CM double.

Oh wow, I forgot you were leaving. Have a great time. It's funny my most vivid memories of Disneyland are of the rides that are not at WDW. The Matterhorn was my first "coaster". We had Mr. Toad at WDW, but he's gone now, and I loved that ride. Do they do the pirate tutorial there too?

yep, the 24th. Thanks. It's funny because for so long I was worried about them being too hot in costumes. Then the forecast changed so dramatically, we were worried about them being too cold. We went to wal-mart that day and bought turtlenecks and they were still cold. It was way colder than I expected it to be.

I know! I had heard so much about how hot it would be that we were totally taken by surprise. Luckily, I'm cold natured and had just left Tennessee, so I had hoodies with me. If not, I would have froze!

OMG, that is so cute!!! They are adorable. Here's my girls at MNSSHP. Ironically, we were in line for POTC when this picture was taken.
ETA: After looking over all our vacation pics, there is only 1 shot of all where my DD2 is actually looking at the camera.

Hee hee! When we first got the Pooh costume, he did NOT want to put it on! But after we coaxed him into it and saw himself in the mirror, he loved it!

I saw the video and WOW....he does look like him....but the voice is exactly the same. I really wish we had gotten to see him. Oh well, if he's there in 2008, I will be camped out all day waiting for #2.

He's really good at adlibbing as well. Some guy in the audience called him "Jack" and he went up to him and said, "What did you just call me?" and kept on until the man referred to him as "Captain Jack."

OMG wenches I just did the most embarassing thing- I wanted to post this comment HERE but I posted it on the the Capt thread I started!!! On the Parks board-- they probably think I am crazy-- I hurried up and deleted it after I saw a post from PrincessJasmine1972 telling me I was silly!
