For anyone who has driven into the World.. Did any of you happen to notice what the cost of gas was at the Exxon station (I think it's Exxon, Exxon or Mobile)?

Not that it matters to me because I won't be driving. I was at the gas station this morning filling up and it just crossed my mind. LOL.

The gas stations are now Hess. The price of gas onsite was $2.18/gal last week. Right outside WDW it was so much more expensive. Chevron was $2.54!

Did Exxon merge with Hess? What is Hess anyways? I never heard of them. So if they didn't merge with Exxon, why did Disney oust Exxon?

$2.18!????! OMG I'm gonna go fill my tank up in Disney World next time!

Hess has been around for 40 years or so. They always have very good prices for gas, and that's why you'll see a lot of CM's buy our gas there, too.

On a side note, they use American oil. :)

I guess thats the downfall with being a freakin Yank ;). I seriously never heard of Hess.

I know there are Hess stations in NY, because I remember filling up at this one that was on my way to school in Ithaca.

They use American and foreign oil and process it through their refinery partnerships around the world. Like most oil companies, they will buy crude from whomever they can make the best deal to meet refined demands. Very solid company, though :)

I am a Yank and we have Hess stations here in CT. They took over the Merit stations.

exxonmobil is no longer a sponsor at epcot; therefore, you will see hess on property now. :earboy2:

By the way... www.orlandogasprices.com usually has the prices of Orlando stations

Edit: They added the ones at Disney... they're not the cheapest in Orlando, but they're pretty close.

That is what we noticed that last time we were there. That gas was so much cheaper on Disney property than off. Way to go Disney. :goodvibes

LOL! After looking at that Hess map, I definately know why I haven't seen them before. I only travel the western half of NY & PA. And they don't exists of here. :)

I understand the soda in the Hess mini-marts is priced close to the supermarkets. If you're just buying soda, bottled water and some "fun" food you might just make a stop there.

Leon Hess owned the NY Jets. His estate sold the team around 5 years ago, after Mr. Hess died.

Hess has got a GREAT deal on canned soda (Coke products only) 2 12 packs for $5.00. (That's what we paid on Saturday, April 23rd)
