Do they ever rerun these episodes like all the cable channels do? I was watching Trading Spaces Home Free and forgot to switch back and forth! DH was watching the Simpsons but caught the end and said it was good!
I was all teary also. Thought I'd lose it when that little boy went into his room and knelt down and said a prayer of thanks to God for his new room! That lady was deserving and as sweet as can be. The world needs more poeple like her!
I knew it would be bad when I cried at their intro video... I had PLENTY of kleenex through the whole show! I usually only tear up at the end!!!
That family was so deserving & so wonderful, I just couldn't believe the length that the show went to in order to help them out!! This was definitely the best one yet

That's why I LOVE Tivo! I haven't watched Extreme Home Makeover yet because I was watching Trading Spaces, but I'll get a chance to watch it tomorrow.
Every episode of this show I've watched so far is amazing. The work they do is incredible, and the people are so deserving, which really makes it even more special. They always make me cry when I see the sheer joy on their faces.
I'd never watched the show before, but I'm glad I caught this one. I lost it when the little girl asked if she could have a Barbie "like this one" for Christmas! How precious! But I agree, the young man kneeling in prayer was very moving!
I am so glad to see this topic posted. I too was so weepy during this epsisode. I was also glad that my kids watched it with me. It really gave them a better appreciation of how lucky we are to have the home we do. They were very moved by the boy giving thanks to God for his new room ( my youngest said "Why doesn't he thank the guys that did the work!"which led to a very interesting discussion about how God works his ways) and also when the little girl asked for the Barbie for Christmas and was told it was already her's.
LOL, my kids said we should write to the show to ask them to help us CLEAN our house, not for a new house.! I guess I'll read on for the topic about how much to pay a cleaning lady!
