Extra Magic Hours

Disney has listed Extra Magic Evening hours in MK for October 7th starting at midnight. Does this mean Sunday AM, 10/7 at midnight or does it actually mean Sunday daytime hours carryover into Monday morning?

The EMH for 10/7 starts at closing time which is midnight. Therefore the park will be open until 3am.

No. On Saturday, the park opens at 8am and closes at midnight.

On Sunday, the park opens at 8am and closes at midnight for non- resort guests. The EMH starts now and will close at 3am on the 8th for resort guests.

You're right. My above post is wrong.

Hours are until midnight on Saturday, with no EMH.

Regular operating hours are until midnight Sunday, with an additional 3 hours of EMH, going until 3am Monday.

Just called Disney and they confirmed. Boy is that confusing. If you look on Disney's calendar the EMHs are listed first, then the park hours. Since it technically is Sunday, not Monday and since they are listed first I don't see how anyone would think (based on that info) that it was "actually" Monday. Glad I asked. Still the logical side of me says...wrong!

In my head, the evening EMH occurs after the park closing for the day. Since it was scheduled for 10/7, the park would extend the hours beyond closing for the 7th.

I can see where the calendar is confusing since the park closes at midnight on the 6th as well and the hours for the 7th are listed in time order instead of order of occurance.
