If you think about it, the Theme Parks of the Disneyland Resort do generally stay open for Day Guests much later than their Floridian counterparts.
For example, during the Peak Seasons, most WDW Theme Parks are generally closed or about to close to Day Guests by 9:00 or 10:00 p.m., with MK closing to Day Guests a little later (11/12). Both DLR Theme Parks generally close by about 11:00 p.m. or 12:00 a.m..
This is more pronounced during weekends in the Off-Season, when WDW, including MK, will generally be closed by about 10:00 p.m. while DL stays open until midnight or so.
It's the tradeoff between the two.
