Extra Magic hours question

Is the EMH only seasonal or do those hours apply in December also? I am trying to figure out our park schedule and would actually like to avoid the parks that have EMH and do other park(s) on those days. Anyone know?

EMH's are year-round, but the actual days that particular parks are open late or early changes. I think they come out about 3 months in advance, so the December ones will be out around early October.

As I understand Disney policy, the EMH hours are subject to change at any time, and indeed, during the holiday week there would probably be the greatest odds the them changing the schedule...but mostly they seem to have fallen into a fairly regular schedule. The regular park hours do vary however, quite a bit depending on when you go. During vacation weeks they tend to be longer, and during non-vacation week in the winter, they tend to be fairly short. Having said that, REGULAR HOURS for Epcot is usually 9-9, AK is 8 or 9am - 5 or 6pm, MGM and MK vary more, but MGM is never open past 10pm. MK varies the most...I think sometimes it closes as early as 6, and can stay open as late as midnight. In December, there will be nights for the Christmas party...I think on those nights the park will close for regular park goers at 5pm(?) but I'm not positive on that time....anyone else????
