Hey everybody. It’s been a while. Feels good to be back.

I’m headed to WDW with the fam from Sun. Jan 20th - Fri. Jan 25th 2019. I’m starting to plan my schedule and dining reservations but I’m having a hard time finding when the MAGIC HOURS are going to be for dates in Jan 2019.

It appears they aren’t available yet. How am I supposed to plan a schedule and reservations if I don’t know what parks to visit based on the when the magic hours are going to be?

Curious if anybody knows or if anybody has had this issue before and what they did.

Its a 180 day rolling calendar and the park hours usually get updated 3-6 weeks out.
If you have a reservation you can go to MDE "add plans" and then pick "add places"? (something to that effect) and see park hours a few days into your vacation but can't see that until about a week prior to your 180 day mark.

There are probably 3rd party sites with a calendar that far out but they are more just predictions until Disney releases the hours.

I was just trying to figure this out - it seems like when I went last November, I was able to see the park hours sooner without having to go through MDE. So I travel 1/10-19-1/15/19 and my ADR day is 7/14. Are you saying that around 7/7 I should be able to see hours for my whole trip through MDE? Right now the "Add Parks" option is grayed out in the "Add Plans" options.

Thanks!

I can't remember the exact date I could start seeing more park hours.
That will no longer be gray when you can.
Its hard to explain over the internet lol.
Let me try though...
My ADR day was June 10th for a December 7th-11th trip. I think around 10 days prior to my 180 day mark when I did what I told you I could see December 7th park hours. The next day I could see up to December 8th park hours. The next day December 9th park hours and so on.

This is always an issue for us early planners. I try to avoid morning EMH parks, making it hard to plan what parks I’ll be in for ADRs if I don’t know the schedule. But like others have said, you’ll generally have a few days before ADR day to see the potential hours and figure things out.

It appears today, MDE is showing Dec 24th Magic Hours. Fingers crossed they catch up before July 17th.

It wouldn’t be that big of deal for me if we had hopper passes, but we just bought the BASE tickets this time to save some money.

I just need to make sure I get BOG on the correct day we’re at MK.

Just wanted to say this worked out perfectly !!!!

I just checked and I can see EMH for my week that is NOT showing up on the MDE calendar. Fantastic! Thank you
