Extra Magic Hours in Epcot?

We will be in WDW the week beforeThanksgiving this year. Epcot has extra Magic Hours from 9 to 11.one evening. Has anyone been to the Epcot for night time EMH. Were lines for popular rides very long? we are just trying to decide if its better to do rope drop or go to EMH maybe scheduling a dinner and a fastpass in Epcot before EMH. we will be statying at BC(always say we am going to try a new resort but end up staying there because of proximity to epcot and peaceful environment)

1. One of my favorite kind of questions... "Has anyone been to..."
2. For the biggies, yes. (That's because Epcot has so few rides to begin-with.)
3. For riding the biggies, its better to do rope drop.
4. But, you can attend PM EMH and spend some time exploring World Showcase "countries," if you like.
5. With that close proximity, just enjoying the beautiful nighttime environment of Epcot World Showcase can be very nice... even if the attraction lines are not "short."
