Do guest have access to EMH? Hilton guests do, but I found nothing on the Waldorf. Thanks for the info!

You can call the hotel and ask them, but I'm pretty sure it is just the downtown Hilton that has the EMH.

No. The only non-Disney owned resorts that have EMH access are:

* DTD Hilton (not the Bonnet Creek one!)
* Shades of Green
* Swan
* Dolphin

I've never actually attended one, even when staying onsite---I prefer to avoid the crowds and get my Extra Magical Hour of Sleep. ;) But, if you have one or two you *really* want to attend, you could consider booking an inexpensive room/campsite for just the day(s) required. It might end up being less expensive than getting equivalent onsite lodging, especially for more luxurious or larger units.

Thanks for the info. We've stayed at the Swan before and really enjoyed the night time EMH. We're nightowls, so EMH do make a big difference to us.

Waldorf Astoria isn't located on Disney property. I don't think Disney would ever extend EMH to hotels not located on Disney property.

I'm gue$$ing that if your money is green enough, they might. The new Four Seasons/Golden Oak development is being built on land that was de-annexed from RCID, but I'll bet my last Mickeybar that they will have EMH access.

Disney might let offsite hotels offer EMH if the hotel pays $$$$. It's probable that amenities such as access to EMH was part of the negotiations with Four Seasons.

Waldorf is located on land that was never part of WDW.

Disney uses EMH to market Disney resorts. I don't think Disney would want to give up that edge.

Didn't the Downtown Disney area hotels offer EMH once upon a time? I guess I'm remembering wrong.

The Hilton in DTD offers EMH. The DTD hotels are on Disney owned property. At one time Disney reservations could book those hotels. When WDW first opened there relatively few hotel rooms run by Disney.

I wouldn't be surprised if terms of the lease gives the hotel the right to pay for EMH.
