Extra Magic Hours @ DHS for Christmas Week

We are planning a trip 12/20-12/27 and chose to stay at the Dolphin (first stay there) for easy access and extra magic hours for DHS since GE will be our main focus. I know things change frequently but I am seeing no Extra Magic Hours for DHS at all that week. Anyone have a guess of why this is and how it might change?? Really hoping for extended hours and/or early magic hours.

DHS’ “normal” EMH pattern (aside from special runs) is one AM EMH per week, typically Sunday AM. There is one on the schedule for 12/22, currently 8am-9am.

I think their recent changes to Thanksgiving week at DHS serve as an interesting guide for what Christmas week may end up looking like. In the case of Thanksgiving week, current park hours are 8am-10pm with 7am-8am EMHs every day that week.

My guess (key word) is you’ll see something similar Christmas week. But TBD of course. I’d love to see more special “Extra” EMHs like the current daily 6am-9am EMHs through 11/2, but it remains to be seen if Disney shares that sentiment.
