Our Dessert Party at Epcot also happens to be on a night of extra magic hours. Anyone have any experience with this?? Thanks!

When my daughter was married in Feb. of 08, our dessert party fell on an extra magic hours evening, each of our guests were given a wristband so they could stay and enjoy the attractions if they chose too.

I thought that was a great touch to end a beautiful day.

Did they do that for every guest even those that didn't have a ticket to the park?? Also did they do that for guests not staying on property??

Yes, there were no questions asked everyone was offered a wristband.

We were afraid it was going to be cold too.
They had the heat lamps on stand-by in case.

IT WAS 87 DEGREES that day!!!!!

She was out on the Grand Floridian Beach sweating!!!
But we were ok with the heat, the next day it was pouring rain.

Was it cold on Feb 8? My DP is on Feb 4th and I'm a little worried about that..

There's no way to know with Florida weather. Our wedding was on Feb. 4, and the weather for our Epcot dessert party was gorgeous—mid-70s. The next year we went back for an anniversary dessert party on Feb. 4 and it was 29 degrees out—they actually had to move our party inside, it was so cold! :scared1:
