extra magic hour question

if mgm closes to the public at 8:30 p.m., and i'm staying at a resort, can i show up and get in at 9:00 p.m., or do i have to enter the park before it closes to the public?

YOu can enter anytime before it closes for the night for extra magic hour... so to answer you question, you can show up at 9 and get in...bring a resort id...
