Extra Evening Magic Hours

It's been several years since my last trip to WDW, and I can't remember how we got the wrist bands for the EEM hours. Do you purchase them at the hotel or do you have to go to the park? Do they sell out? If you have to go to the park to get them, does that mean you have to go first thing in the morning, or can you get them later in the afternoon? See, we usually visit one park in the morning, take a short afternoon break, and then go to another park that evening. Thanks!

As long as you are staying on property and have your valid id for the resort they will give you the bands beginning two hours prior to the evening EMH. They hand them out at various points around each park I believe so you don't have to get it at the gate unless you come after they begin. It still counts as a day on your pass and if you don't have the hopper option you can't go to one park during the day and then another for the EMH.
