The extra day is going to be spent at Typhoon Lagoon. The 3 I am thinking of adding are
Breakfast : Kona Cafe I have heard great things)
Lunch : Beaches and Cream (mainly because of the desserts)
Dinner : Maya Grill ( the menu looks great)

What does everyone else think??? Do these 3 seem good or should we be trying something else? Kids are 7 and 4.

The restaurants look great but with 2 small kids, that's an awful lot of time spent in restaurants and away from rides and time in parks. Just my thoughts though. My boys are 5 and 6 and I couldn't imagine spending more than half our trip in restaurants.

It is alot of restaurant time, but I figured we are going to be there 12 days and are spending 2 days in each park. Plus my kids complained that we did not have full breakfast last time. They want to do every character meal there is, which to me character meals are like attractions. If they do not see them at the meal we will have to wait in line to see them in the parks.

You have some excellent picks there! :) Have you considered Jiko? I'd get rid of Mickey's BBQ and do Hoop and Jiko if you have enough credits. It really is a nice experience.

Someone suggested WCC ...What did you like most about it?
Someone else mentioned Jiko and I was wondering the same.
You also mentioned to drop the BBQ was it dissapointing?
Any additional info would be greatly appreciated. Anything on the list you think i should not bother with and trade.

and has become our new favorite.

Beaches and Cream desserts are worth waiting for...the banana split was a meal unto itself and the sundae my daughter got, something beyond huge, was spectacular. If Kevin is at the door, encourage him to sing for you.

(jiko doesn't have kiddie entertainment, but there were children eating there with their parents and they were all, every one, beautifully behaved. It was a joy.)

Jiko is fantastic and an overall good experience. The mac & cheese filet, even though it sounds odd as a combination, was outstanding. The atmosphere and service are also great.

I think you should drop the Mickey's BBQ and stick with Hoop Dee Do. They both have very similar foods and experiences. Being that you have a ton of character dining lined up, it'd be okay to drop the BBQ for the Hoop Dee Do. It really is a fun show and has great American food. In place of this, you could try Jiko.

Another great place is Narcoossee's, but if you go with kids, book it during the electrical water pageant/Wishes. It is more of an upscale restaurant, but your children won't feel out of place. They allow you to go outside on the balcony to watch the festivities and bring your dinner out once you return. It is a very special treat and you'll enjoy the food immensely.

The only other places I'd reconsider are Marakesh, San Angel Inn, and Everything Pop. Marakesh, IMHO, has horrible food and the tables are extremely close together. The entertainment wasn't that great either. This was the worst restaurant I have ever visited on WDW property. I could not even stand to stay there to get dessert. We visited San Angel Inn a few years back and it was fairly good, but the service and food has declined. I think it might be better to swap this for something else. Everything Pop is an okay counter service restaurant, but the portions are very tiny and the food is mediocre. The lines at breakfast can be quite long even during the slow times of year. You're better off going to the Main Street Bakery in MK for breakfast or another CS.
