I've a lot people mention food from places other than MDR or buffet restaurants. Which of these cost extra.

Only the food in the adult dining venues (Palo & Remy). And there's an extra cost pub menu on the ships:

And Vanellope's on the Dream

And, of course, candy & popcorn at the theaters cost extra.

The specialty beverages (coffees, teas, alcoholic drinks) all cost money at Cove Cafe. The goodies in the glass case do not.

There are items on room service that cost as well. Mostly packaged snacks and bottled/canned beverages.

Hint=anything that says call for price costs extra along with soda in a can, from a bar or room service

But popcorn is SO messy, so its probably not the cost of the popcorn as much as the cost of the staff to clean up all the spills. popcorn::

We were never hungry enough to have any but this time I might bring a bag of pre-popped with me just in case. LOL

Thats what we did!!! A giant Costco sized bag. (But my kiddo has food allergies and I was afraid she would not be able to eat the popcorn on board).

The only thing we bought extra was the light up cups on pirate night (I got one for each kid at the table) and I had one alcoholic drink at Castaway Cay. (I'm not a big drinker at all). We also got the following souvenirs: sweatshirt, two bottles of rum, a stuffed turtle.

I sprung for the light up cups too. And a couple of other Smoothies for my teen-aged sons. (Sometimes they are free in Vibe and Edge, I think). You certainly don't have to spend extra for food and drink on the trip if you don't want to. There are so many free choices on board.

We loved the selection of free food from room service. If you search the threads, you can find where people posted pictures of the room service menu. Most of it is free, except as mentioned above, pre-packaged snacks and cans of soda.
