Is there a list to print anywhere as to what all of the extra charges are for DVC.

We are new so we are just trying to find out as much info as possible. We are looking for charges for extra mousekeeping extra towels etc. or anything else you can think of that is a different than it would be if you were staying in a normal hotel of Disney.:wizard:

from the DVC member site:

Pay As You Play
With Pay As You Play service, you'll be provided with the following amenities free of charge at the start of your stay. After that, you may purchase more for the following fees:

Toiletries Package, $5.00 - 1 facial soap, 1 bath soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 shower gel
Coffee Package, $3.00 - 1 package of coffee, 8 sugars, 8 creamers, 8 artificial sweeteners
Towel Package, $6.00 - 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat
Laundry Detergent (only in One-, Two-, and Three-bedroom Vacation Homes), $1.00 - 1 box

Additional Full Cleaning Rates:
Studio/Inn Room - $30.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $45.00 per day requested
Two-Bedroom - $60.00 per day requested
Three-Bedroom - $75.00 per day requested

Additional Trash & Towel Rates:
Studio/Inn Room - $15.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $20.00 per day requested
Two-Bedroom - $25.00 per day requested
Three-Bedroom - $35.00 per day requested

Note: Rates are subject to change.

just a note on the prices quoted above:

Everything on that list is included in your normal DVC points. The toiletries, coffee, towels, and Laundry Detergent is all included when you check in. With the exception of the laundry detergent in a studio, since studio's don't have a Washer/Dryer.

Cleanings are included as well based on this schedule:
For stays of 7 nights or less: Trash&Towel service is included on Day 4 (your day of check in counts as Day 1).
For stays of 8 nights or more: You get a full cleaning on Day 4, and trash&towel on Day 8. The cycle repeats itself on Day 12.

You will get a set of towels for each person in your Villa's maximum occupancy. Each bed, including any pull-outs will have a full set of sheets, linens, pillows. Each bathroom in your villa will have a set of toiletries. Your kitchen will have one coffee package.

All of the towels, toiletries, and the coffee package will be replaced and the trash will be taken on Trash&Towel Cleanings.
Full cleanings include everything in Trash&Towel plus they will replace all the sheets, vacuum, wash floors, clean tubs, etc....A traditional hotel cleaning.

Everything I mentioned so far is included in your annual dues. The only time you will pay any of those extra costs is if you want anything extra outside of what's included.

In 9 years of DVC, I've never paid for extra housekeeping or anything on the list above. I'm actually glad that I don't have to worry about housekeeping being in the room.

We paid for a full cleaning last trip because we had one set of guests leaving and another set coming. I was VERY disappointed in the service, and will never pay for a cleaning again. I'd rather do it myself and KNOW that it was done right, rather than half "fast" like we got in January at AKV.

Is there a way to get extra towels but no service or do you have to do the towel trash service??:confused3

Extra towel packs are $6. That is a set of 4 Bath, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths & abath mat.

See the Towel pack quoted above for $6. Some have reported not being charged.

Thanks

Are these and other charges posted somewhere so I do not have to keep asking here??

They are on the DVC member website, but like everything there, they are sort of hidden. Look under "view Resorts" select any resort then select Resort Services from the menu.

DVC tends to have no extra fees for regular use. Besides the pay to play fees above and the maint fees, that's really it if you use points at DVC resorts. Assume an exchange fee for non DVC options as well as that you can't use those points at DVC resorts if you exchange then later cancel. There are no banking, borrowing, transfer fees, multiple reservation fees or cancelation fees. There is no exchange membership fee but there is an exchange fee for RCI and BVTC (the two timeshare exchange options) and for the cash options there is also a fee for Disney Collection, DCL, Adventures by Disney and Concierge Collection. Currently DL is the only exception I can think of that does not have an exchange fee. Now you're actually paying for all of this and more, just that it is rolled into your maint fees.
