Extended Evening Hours vs LLMP/SP vs Early Entry

Our best days for EE and midday breaks were MK/DHS with LLMP & LLSP. Hands down. We skipped Space Mountain. Extremely happy with how those days turned out. LLMP & LLSP for MK/DHS took our waits down to 20 minutes max. Made it out of the parks by noon and back to the parks by 6pm till close. Our EE to Epcot & AK last year with a midday break took us out for the rest of the day. We never made it back.

This upcoming trip we're choosing Epcot's EEH over EE for the first time ever. Going to sleep in and get a late afternoon start to EEH close. I think if EE was an hour long at Epcot instead of 30 minutes I would reconsider. If Test Track wasn't in refurb, I would definitely reconsider. There's just too much space and walking at Epcot to make EE truly worth it there with Test Track still in refurb. Going with LLSP for Epcot Guardians since I was too chicken to ride it. Skipping LLMP for it since it's truly not needed. Husband is happy he gets to sleep in for the first time ever on vacation.

LLMP questions (FOMO is hitting me)...

My understanding... purchase LLMP seven days before going into the park (or later) and make reservations to three attractions. After you use one attraction, you can go into the app and see if there's another (4th attraction) available that day.

1) What about when you use your second reservation? Do you get to see if there's availability for a 5th attraction? Or, you get your four and you're done (unless you purchase a LLSP)?
2) How long are the "windows" of the reservation? If I make a reservation for 9:30AM, does that mean I can enter the LL que between 9:30A-10:30A?
3) What happens if you miss your first/any reservation? Are you not able to make the 4th (or subsequent if that's allowed) reservation?

TIA.

I've always had a problem taking midday breaks. The amount of time it takes to get back to the resort, (for me) settle down enough to nap, then the time to get back to the park just doesn't make sense to me. You're probably looking at four hours minimum. Now, if you're at a park that's adjacent to the resort, that makes more sense.

I had to learn how to take a break, because DH will not go without one. He will take the younger kids back first to actually nap, while I stay out with the older kids. Then, typically, I'll either disassociate on my phone in the air conditioning for an hour or two or take the kids down to the pool.
Overall, I've learned to appreciate the "breaks" because I get overstimulated if I don't take them. Technically, I could probably get a rejuvenating break, while still inside the park, but I wouldn't be able to have my kids with me.

How does your wife prefer to do Disney? DH doesn't ride many rides anymore, but he sees the value of rope drop, as long as I accommodate him on his break during the hottest part of the day.
If the kids weren't a factor, then I would have no problem paying for LLMP for myself, and stacking them throughout the day, then DH could either take a break in or out of the park, while I did all the rollercoasters. I'm also very familiar with the single rider lines. Although, if the kids aren't a factor, and DH isn't waiting with me, then I have no problem waiting in multiple 90 minute lines either.

It's been about 5 years since we've been. I think we got a little later start and just stayed in the park all day. That was only 2-3 days though. Next month will be five park days. DW and I have already talked, if she wants to take a break, she'll either go back to the room or find a bench somewhere. I might do some early starts and she joins me later.

I'm having a hard time sitting down and deciding what attractions I must, want, would like to, or skip.

The day of your park visit is not counted in the 7 day window for on-site guests. The 7 day window is tied to your resort reservation. So you will arrive on a Monday then you are able to book any LLMP and/or LLSP starting on the Monday before your arrival day at 7 AM ET.

How long are the "windows" of the reservation? If I make a reservation for 9:30AM, does that mean I can enter the LL que between 9:30A-10:30A?
Each return time window is 1 hour. The LL queue will allow you to enter the queue at 8:55 AM (5 minutes) before your return window. Officially you are also allowed to enter up to 15 minutes after your return time window expires. So attractions are a little less restrictive on being late, and sill getting a Green ring on the Mickey head at the tapstile.

What happens if you miss your first/any reservation? Are you not able to make the 4th (or subsequent if that's allowed) reservation?
That's not a good plan, if you don't enter the park, and tap into your first LLMP you can't unlock the tier restrictions or park hopping. There are some specific edge cases where your 1st LLMP attraction is down. Then you should get notification that you a Multi Experience Pass that can be used when your attraction is back up. But be careful, you still need to tap into one of your existing LLMP attractions to unlock the tiers, and park hopping.

What about when you use your second reservation? Do you get to see if there's availability for a 5th attraction? Or, you get your four and you're done (unless you purchase a LLSP)?
For LLMP you are able to hold a rolling group of (3) LLMP attractions all day.

As soon as you tap in to a LLMP attraction, you can book a new LLMP attraction. Yes MDE will show you available LLMP attraction return times anytime you book an additional LLMP. You are able to keep using your LLMPs all day at any park replacing each used LLMP with a new LLMP always holding a rolling list of 3 selections.

LLSP are sligtly different since you are limited purchase a max/limit of (2) selections per day, and you pay a seperate fee for each of these LLSP attractions. And yes you can book up to 2 LLSP at any park (if you have a park hopper ticket).

Yes this sounds very confusing before you actually start using the LL system but once you get into the park, and start using the system it is very consistent.

EEHs at MK are awesome. Epcots not as great because of how far the big rides are from each other but it’s still good. Our most recent trip we did every attraction pretty much and never hit a park before 11-12:00. We stayed late, did an AH party (we sacrificed one of our Epcot EEHs for an MK AH party) and the EEHs. We had LLMP also most days. We were there for two weeks but we pretty much got everything done in our first week. I’d say with the EEH you dont need the single LLs for MK, as you can do those during EEH, but the LLMP makes life so much easier. Also if you skip the parade and nighttime shows, lines are shorter than too.

I want to say Guardians still had a pretty significant line during EEH in March. I don’t ride it, but my daughter and son-in-law did. I went over to Mission Space while they did. That was a walk on. I rode, had time to go over to Odyssey building, went back to Guardians to wait, and still waited maybe 10-15 minutes.
