Express pass with resort stay question

Hello. I am planning my very first trip to universal in May because I’m going to be the area, but it is just going to be for a day. But I have a question about express pass usage with the resorts that offer them. Do I only get them for the duration of my stay? I am planning on checking in to one of those resorts for just one night - check in Friday, check out Saturday. Would the express passes only be good for one of those days? For example, if I used my 1 day park ticket for that Sunday - I wouldn’t have the express pass, correct?

For a one night stay you would get two full days of EP.

If you check in Friday, it`s only good for Friday and Saturday, room keys are marked with date of stay along with your name.

That has been our experience as well. It's good from check in date to check out date.

If you book one night, and stay Friday night, you would NOT get to pick Sunday as a day to use the Express.

Express is provided for the time you are actually staying at the resort. If you check in on a Friday (staying Friday night) and check out Saturday morning you would get Express for Friday and Saturday.
