Has anyone here ever tried the ExpoDisc? I've been thinking of purchasing one, but not sure if it's worth the price. Thanks in advance:thumbsup2

I have one, I am glad I have it. It is expensive. I probably would not buy again. I suggest you get a grey digital card for $15 and go that way.

YesDear...thanks for your reply, aside from being expensive, are you happy with the results of the product. The 18% grey card seems like a hassle when working by yourself compared to the Expodic & most importantly can I justify the cost? Thanks again.

I don't have one. Yet. I have heard great things about them. However, I have been told to get the neutral one instead of the portrait one. Less of a warm (yellow) color is better. Wish I could give a first hand answer but I know 2 people (pro photographers) who use one and saw ALL the Disney photogs on the Disney Fantasy using them. Every one of them have said they work great. Yes, I did ask all the photogs on the cruise. haha. I have been told to buy the one that fits your largest diameter lens and it can be used for all of your other lenses as well.

Just the opposite. The digital grey card fits in your pocket, it is about 3x4. You pull out hold in front of you and take a picture.

I have one and I've used it a few times, but mostly end up ignoring it or forgetting it. Wouldn't recommend it because there are too many other, less expensive ways to get a white balance.
