Expo and transport?

For Wine and Dine, is there transport to/from the expo from all hotels? How about from the expo to the parks? Also how long should we plan to be at the expo if we are just picking up our bibs, right when it opens Friday? Thanks!

There is transportation from the hotels to and from. The transportation does not run to from and from the parks though. If you are just picking up bibs you do not need to be there right when it opens

So for Wine & Dine it appears all resorts are Host Resorts meaning that all WDW hotels will have transportation to and from the expo. That being said, unless something has changed there is not transportation from the expo directly to the parks. Instead you take the bus from the expo to a hotel that is near the park you want to go to (along the monorail for Magic Kingdom and The Boardwalk area for Epcot or Hollywood Studios). If you are just picking up bibs and want to do so when the expo opens (like @rteetz said this is not necessary) you would want to take the first available bus from the hotel and depending on when that one arrives versus when other ones arrive I would say you can be in and out anywhere between 30-90 minutes. Wine and Dine is usually a smaller race so it may be a little less but I always like to plan for the worst.

If you are willing to wait until the mid-late afternoon on Friday you can pretty much walk right up and get your bibs though.
