I didn't take it that way. I believe it was SKYNET news I was listening to that asked a very similar thing. How did this happen with such security, how did they get guns and bombs into places where they should never have been able to. I agree now's not the time to figure out "how", I just don't know that they were trying to "go there".

Explosions now happening at concert hall, and another attack under way. Not clear from SKYNEWS if that is meaning the bombs at concert hall or in a new separate location.

Because they are organized terrorist. When will people stop thinking these people are some rag tag groups of militants who got together. These are highly intelligent functioning military units.

Is this going to be France's 9/11?

My biggest fear is they are not done, maybe not in France but elsewhere. I can't honestly believe that if they were this prepared in one country another is not lying in wait.

Nope. I'm sure Obama will make sure they get a free phone, free transportation, housing, and job placement all over the country. You can guarantee profiling is going to reach an all time high after this attack on France like it or not.

I'm glad to see their police and military acted fast and saved many lives.

What is state of emergency ? Basically it's a legal state which enable local authorities to instate curfews and lock off zones and restrict people's whereabouts
Schools are closed tomorrow in the greater paris area
''White plan'' has been triggered (full alert for all emergency personnel, every EMT are now on duty and the 28 hospitals in paris are on full alert)

Border control has been put in place today, but unrelated to tonight's events. Border control is related to the cop21 conference due next month, but tonights events have called for a higher level

1500 troops are dispatched

correct, there are bag scanner machines at the entrance to Disney Village and at the Parks entrance , also outside the hotels.

I absolutely agree. Just like I thought the politicians should not have gone political within hours of the last school shooting.
