Stade de France is a major sporting venue in central Paris, similar to Dodgers Stadium in LA. There was a major soccer match there tonight, between France and Germany, with the French President in attendance

Stade de France is the biggest stadium in France, and considered the national stadium. It was the site of the 1998 World Cup Final. It was built in an otherwise working class neighborhood - according to a former coworker of mine from France.

Geraldo Rivera reported his daughter was in the Stadium but made it out safely. Prayers for all involved.

It is very interesting, but this was a well-coordinated attack (6 locations)with what sounds like military execution and precision. Very difficult to plan something on this scale within a few hours of the Jihadi John attack. This was likely planned out.

There may very well have been operatives in place in France with specific plans just as our military has contingency plans, and they were given the order to proceed. Hope the French authorities can squash this quickly and save lives.
scary thing is, there are reportedly operatives in this country with the same orders to attack en masse when ordered to.

Irish and UK Governments have now set up phone lines for any Irish or UK nationals who are worried about family members who are in Paris tonight.
