We have turned our back on France, once again? Disappointed and deeply saddened.

Or just selective grief. What if it was partially a cumulative effect that caused the change? In this case Paris had suffered attacks only a few months ago, ISIS had only weeks ago been looked at for the downing of the Russian airliner and the day before there was an attack in Beirut. Maybe the latest Paris attack was simply the tipping point.
Sorry. *sigh* Not worth the points. What's this referring to?

Again, not worth the points. Political comments are not allowed.Who is we?

I too am confused about what you mean. I also don't understand why you would make a such a vague comment if you don't feel you can follow up on it lest you get points. That would indicate to me that you probably shouldn't have even said it in the first place.Again, not worth the points.

Your first instinct was spot on.You've lost me here. I thought you were referring to some statement or refusal the U.S. has announced but couldn't find anything.
If you're referring to those questioning why such an uproar over Paris when other attacks have been overlooked, petty nonsense IMO. Civilized humans looking to live in a civilized society should stand together and offer hatred no toehold in which to climb in and cause chaos. If ever there were a time for pettiness, this ain't it.
I'm not saying they aren't allowing you to change your picture to the Lebananese flag. What I mean is that right now Facebook has added the ability to take your existing profile picture and cover it with a semi-transparent French flag. All you have to do is click a button. But only a French flag. They didn't do that for Kenya in April. They didn't do that for Lebanon. I know it's minor, and very picky. It's just interesting to me that one's more important than others.

No, but expounding on it, may be construed as such. I try very hard to stay within the guidelines. I'd rather err on the side of caution. So the post was a disguised political post.

You're totally entitled to your opinions. No, but expounding on it, may be construed as such. I try very hard to stay within the guidelines. I'd rather err on the side of caution.
Some things never change. You're totally entitled to your opinions.
Not sure how this advances the discussion...but that's me.
