I went and tried to search for my pins on pinpics.com and I can't figure out how to find them. Could someone explain to me how to search on that web site. What imformation do I need to know about my pins so I could search for them and how do I get that info.

Also when it say's orginal price, is that what the pin is going for now or when it was first sold. How would I find out how much they are worth. Thanks

Find a characteristic and type it in. If you want all stitch pins type in Stitch. If you want Mary Poppins, type that in. If you want to narrow the search be more creative. For example if you are looking for the Chip and Dale Tax day pin that just came out at WDW. typing in Chip or Dale will get you thousands of pins. However if you check the WDW box and then search for TAX, you search is very narrow.

The price in pinpics is what it cost you to buy it from Disney, not the aftermarket. The Tomart Guide has price ranges for what they have sold for recently, or you can look at on-line auction sites for current sales.

To do a search on pinpics you need to do a few things.

1. Click on the "Search" link on the left.

2. Either a. Use the simple search. Which will let you look up a pin using the Pinpics number.
or b. Use the advanced search. Here you can you can pick a "category". I check the Disniy Pins one and click the Continue button.

3. After hitting the continue button brings you to a page that will let you narrow your search to just certain types of pins.

4. on the bottom there is a search field that can narrow it down even more. If you type in something like "Tinker Bell" will give you a listing of anything with Tinker Bell in the title. The same for "Tinkerbell" will give you a listing of the pins with Tinkerbell in the title.

Then you get a listing of the pictures of the pins to visually select the pin you have. I do hope that helped.
