Hi Gerberdaisy! I wanted to let you know we stayed at BC CL last October and had a fantastic experience!Now I only have 2 CL experiences total at YC and BC but have been really satisfied at both. I was already prepared (thanks DIS) on what the food selections probably would be so we were great with what was offered. I found the CMs to be very accomodating and I asked for stuff on several different occasions. There was one family that tended to dominate but as soon as they cleared out a tray of food (Ridiculous when people are clearly waiting) a CM was right there to replace it. The CM Emily, I wanted to bring home with me. She was so great with my kids and also the desk CMs greeted us by name everytime we walked by. Again, I know I am a CL newbie, but I have had no complaints!
I've stayed at WL CL and AKL CL and I would have to give the edge to WL. We were just at the AKL CL last week, our room was soooo far from the lounge we rarely ventured that far unless we were leaving the resort or coming in from being gone. I much prefer the resorts that have a dedicated club level where your room is on the same level as the lounge.
AKL CL is very nice, we enjoy the food and drink offerings, and the resort itself is gorgeous. Really the only down side was the insanely long walks.

At the CR in March and at the YC in June we loved our views. 
That is now a high priority for us on all future trips for sure.

Not complaining about that, though... we could see the top castle spires sitting down and the entire castle in the distance, standing up... plus the GF and Poly marina toward the left - I guess that's better than the "jungle" view on the other side!
Just back from Poly CL!
We've stayed at the Poly 2x before, but this was our first CL stay ever!
We booked a GV CL room, and were "upgraded" to a first floor room on the lagoon side of the building, room 1515. Those quotations are there because that view consisted of a big green construction fence about 25 feet from the patio!
The CM who checked us in said that they were actually "overbooked and having to send people to other resorts"!! I checked before we left for the trip just to see how crowded it would be, and there were GV CL rooms available, but no LV or TPV... Maybe the overbooking was due to the fact that they wouldn't DARE put someone who actually paid for LV or TPV into those last 6 rooms??
The food in the lounge was about what I expected, quality-wise... The only thing that I didn't care for was Tuesday night's appetizers, conch fritters (ok) and vegetable cornucopias (tasted like a hotpocket) The cheeses were always delicious, especially the boursin and the herb cheese offered on Friday night. We had desserts on 2 nights, and those were very good - raspberry mousse and an apple tart on Friday and mini strawberry cheesecakes and chocolate peanut butter cake on Tuesday.
I don't know if we'll stay CL again soon, but it was nice to try! We have been debating whether we liked it more than our non-CL TPV room on 3rd floor of Tuvalu, we had last time. We spent a lot of quality time on the balcony that trip! The patio wasn't shaded enough for hanging out much, but we did like the direct beach access. For me, 3rd floor balcony wins. It was nice to have the robe, but I wouldn't have felt the need for it if I were sitting on the balcony in the mornings rather than the open patio. The chocolates we received on our first day were good, but the middle one on the bottom row was missing!!! We joked that the maid must have needed a snack!!
The resort itself was pretty empty compared to previous trips. The pool or beach was never very crowded. Service standards were high, as always. Cookies (same ones served in CL lounge) were being handed out one day when we came into the GCH. Also, a basket of dry towels were near the entrances to the GCH on rainy days.
That's my little review!

I'm glad you liked the room you got, I have to say that I would have pitched a fit if they tried to move me around to LV side on the far end when I had GV booked. We actually really like GV because we can see the quiet pool and watch the kids when they are down there swimming. I know the exact room 1515 you were in because that is right behind the green wall. I took a bunch of videos and put them on YouTube of those rooms. I wonder if some people declined the "upgrade" and that's why they had to move them to other hotels??

I posted newly rehabbed BWI lounge and room photos on Thursday to the BWI/BWV thread that's hyperlinked in my signature. I also posted a couple new hall carpeting photos yesterday. Not to ruin the surprise, but not much at all was done to the lounge. In fact, they didn't even get a fridge
I always tell people that it never hurts to do OCI and it can be fun doing something proactive related to your trip, but when adding any room location requests, the choices can be very limited and pre-set.Hello everyone -
I'm wondering what the general consensus is concerning online check-in for Club Level guests. We have not stayed CL since 2001, so we are wondering if it is necessary and/or advisable?
