Expired Kohl's Cash

The stores in our area have always accepted expired Kohl's cash. When shopping today, the cashier said that starting Jan 1st, they will no longer honor any expired coupons or expired Kohl's cash.

Our stores around here stopped taking expired Kohls cash at least 6 months ago.

That stinks. I have been having a hard time finding good sale prices on name brands lately too. My son is in desperate need of some jeans that aren't floods. He was between kids' and young men's until recently. I went in to pick up a pair of levis in 29x30 and they had a stupid buy one get one half off thing going on. So I had to buy 2 pairs which were almost impossible to find in the right size. With my 30% off and with a $16 adidas t-shirt I picked up for my nephew, the total was $81! So I basically paid $35 for each pair of jeans, which is usually the sale price without 30% off.

My local store never took expired cash. They wouldn't even try it, not even at the customer service desk.

I've had success placing an order online and requesting that expired cash be applied. They said they couldn't promise; however would forward the request. I don't know if it was because I was placing an order or just " luck"but I was given credit for the expired cash.

Sounds like this is a YMMV kinda thing based on what everybody is saying. My store has always accepted expired KC and coupons. I have learned to take what cashiers/ store employees say with a grain of salt. Sometimes they know what they are talking about and sometimes they don't.

Rats. I've got some expired Kohl's cash but won't be able to get to the store before Jan1st since I'm having surgery.

Hopefully it won't be like that at my Kohls store.

The store closest to our house does take expired cash and that is one of their selling points. None of the others do and this store always makes a point of telling customers that they do take it where other stores in the area so not.

Mine took $30 in expired cash yesterday....I just asked the cashier when checking out and she scanned it to "see if there was anything left on it". It expired on the 9th of December, so maybe it depends on how long ago it expired? But I was pretty happy!

I used an expired kohls cash today. I did hear that soon they aren't going to be allowed to at all

A couple weeks ago, I used some expired Kohls cash and the cashier did let me know that they were not going to allow anymore.

I live 20 minutes from two different kohls stores. Neither of them ever took expired kohls cash. I tried several times with different cashiers, I even tried going to the customer service desk, and was always told that they would not accept it.
