Yes, I'm quoting myself here.
So I was chatting with Member Services while I'm filling out this paperwork, and they said they can't bank the 2019 points until my contract closes. My guide said it would take 45 days to close, so I'll be the next use year before that happens.
Also, I can't book until I close and the points get moved into next use year. I'm already at the 10 month mark.
I called Member Services this morning and they moved the 2019 points with no problem. When you call, the cast member you speak with will need to put you on hold because they need to take it up a level or something, but it doesn't take long.
Now I have to figure out how to get this paperwork notarized. I have gone to my bank in the past, but it's "temporarily closed." I don't think it's due to Covid, because our numbers are lower now than the last time I went in to the branch. Maybe air quality, but they work inside??
Buy direct, they said. Super easy, they said.
I went to one of my local UPS stores. I am glad I called a few locations first after work. One didn't answer, and I called twice. One answered, but the notary person only works from 10-3.

Finally, I called one more, across town, and that one had someone working in the evening today. They charge $15 and my bank does it for free.
I've never had a problem just showing up at my bank and getting it done. I did stop by the ONE branch of my bank that seems to be open locally, and they had a notary person, but she was busy and wouldn't be available. I could make an appointment....but nothing in the evening. She said I should have called first - I had. Nobody answered. I asked her why all the banks are closed, because they had been open even when our Covid numbers were higher. She said they are all open, well maybe just the drive through. Um, yeah, I can't get something notarized in a drive through?
I paid the $15 at the UPS Store.

The lady saw the words mortgage and Wilderness and she's like - are you going to LIVE THERE?!
Then drove back across town to the FedEx store to drop it off, but it's done!
