We will be there to ride it on Saturday. We are hoping the lines aren't too bad by the time we get there.

Wow...thanks for the heads up. We fly in on Saturday. Not AP or DVC, so we will stay away from AK until later in the week.

Nobody KNOWS, there's no WAY to know just who will be driving in and who will be staying off-site.

So don't sweat it until you get there.

Like was said... WE read the boards and hang on every little detail.

There are PLENTY of "sane" people who don't know and (Gasp) don't CARE if a theme-park ride is "previewing" on an off-season weekend.
(The kids are in school, the adults are at work... they have LIVES!)

But WE on THIS board have SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT priorities.

I'm here in Orlando at the moment and had planned on heading over for the first day of the DVC/AP previews tomorrow. However, the local news programmes have been suggesting for a couple of days now that it's open to DVC/AP holders now. Just saw another report saying the same thing. Think we might pop in there today and find out.

Will EE be open in May? When we were there in 2004, we saw the bare bones foundation of this ride. It looks like so much fun, I'll be really disappointed if I can't ride it this time!

We will be there Sat. and Sun. We are AP holders. I just made reservations at All Star Sports. There were other Disney hotels available as well. Can't wait to ride EE. Have a Great Weekend

Your post reminded me of a cast memeber in the MK who before the parade his job is telling people to please move back, you can sit here but not here kind of thing.........Anyway, we started up a conversation with him, come to find out, when he took a vacation to WDW, he liked it so much, thought it would be great to have a job there. He said he never went back home. He was going on his 14th year and still loves it.

I am not saying whether it is true or not, but local news has a habit of getting WDW details pretty wrong.

I will definitely NOT be there this weekend. Maybe tomorrow night if we feel like it. No hurry, we already rode it.
