Experiences renting a car to drive to WDW?

We are looking at renting a minivan to drive to WDW in Feb. We have driven twice before and that is no problem but we don't have a car we feel comfortable making the trip in at this point. Right now, aifares are running about $300 per person and we have a family of 5.

Has anyone done this? HOw did you get a decent rate? I have been told "unlimited mileage" really means up to 1000 per week. We are driving 3000 miles minimum. Any ideas, experiences, tips, feedback??

We did this a couple of years ago. We saw a great rate listed in USA Today and got a weekly rental for a minivan from Budget for $199. It included unlimited mileage and we drove from NJ to WDW. We had no problems with the mileage. Just make sure when you rent that it specifies unlimited mileage.
