Experienced WDWers help needed!

i think though that if i can get a better hotel for a not much more it would make the whole disney experience more special

thats exactly what we thought last year we fell in love with the place so much that we booked with in days to go back

we loved OKW but wouldn't stay there again - the quick service meal options were very limited as it is geared towards families catering for themselves in the stuiso's and villa's - I would give SSR a go next time .

We are hoping to book for oct 2011 and are waiting for the free dining offers. We have done holidays without dining and found that we covered more ground and more rides, so it would be fine for a week long trip, however, these days we like to have a bit more 'evening' entertainment and like to have a meal out at a nice restauramt so ddp suits us. The counter service food at disney is both varied and readily available.
For a short trip (week) where the rides and attractions are more important then you could well eat 'on the hoof' and do without the ddp,as you can often spend a lot of time waiting for your table etc when ya could be on the rides!
