Hey all! Looking for some experience/feedback from people.

My family is invested in the prospect of doing brunch at the California Grill on our check-in day. We check in on a Sunday this year and check out that Saturday, so we'll only have one opportunity to do CG Brunch.

I'm assuming this experience is a pretty high demand ADR, which makes me nervous, seeing as it's day 180 in our 180+10 window. Has anyone had success booking CG brunch at 180 days? If so, what time did you book it for?

TIA!

Great experience and worth the extra effort:).

Go ahead and set up to make it one of your first ADRs. Not available? Time to fall back on touringplan's or one of the other reservation finders.
Happy hunting!

I'd search for it first, and grab anytime available. Otherwise, there are the reservation finders and the monthly cancelled ADR thread here.

The monthly cancelled ADR thread has been very helpful to me in the past. That's how I got our Cali Grill Brunch reservation.

We have done it both ways, day 1 and day 7, 8, or 9 of our trip and have always been able to snag an ADR. This upcoming trip, we didn't decide to do CG until well past our 180 day mark, probably closer to 90 days. I easily snagged an ADR for 5 of us.
I am sure you will get it. Also, I'm not sure, but CG brunch may be one of the few that do not load right at 180. So, if you don't get it the first day, keep at it. But I truly doubt there will be no availability at 180. Just my experience.

I am also wanting to get an ADR for this brunch and it will be 180+2 for us. I've been checking ADR availability lately because I make my reservations in a week. I've been consistently seeing availability (checking for party of 3) for the last Sunday that is currently open for booking, which is less than 180 days out. So, hopefully, we will both be able to get it when our ADR window opens.

What week are you speaking of? Currently, I'm only looking in April and have noooo idea whether ressies have been released for the first and second weeks of April or not.

Right now, the furthest Sunday out is July 21. There is availability that day. I will be looking for August 4 when my 180 day window opens up. I didn't see anything available for the first two Sundays in April, so it may be fully booked. Of course there are always cancellations, so I would keep checking and definitely set up reservation finders.

That's how I normally get reservations there:cool:.

I was able to get an ADR for May 12th for a party of 5 at 12:40 at 180 days out. Was looking to modify the time so each day I would check and saw availability for a 12:00 reservation. If you don’t get a reservation I would check each day because people are cancelling/modifying all the time. Good luck
