First of all, thanks SamSam for directing me to this forum!

I was wondering though, if anyone has their scavenger hunt passport's clues to post. I am assuming they won't be the same... duh... but I was just wondering what the clues were like. I did see the 3 sample clues on Disneyrunning.com but I was looking for more.

Plus, I think I read there were something like 8 different versions of the passport...

Thanks all!

There were 4 questions total in the scavenger hunt. I have to look for my passport so I can post the questions we had. There were like 8-10 different versions with different questions. I am not sure what is posted at Disney Running but I will check it out.

Awesome! I can't wait to see them.

We got one clue wrong because we were in too big a hurry.

They sent us sample clues before the race so you could get an idea of what they were. They were very sight specific - you had to be looking at the sign. You did not have to know any Disney trivia. It was absolutely a fun night! I only wich there had been more clues! I think 6 or 7 would have been perfect.

Each book had 4 questions in them and there were at least 2 different books.

My book had:

Clue 1:Discovery Island
Location: Fork right at Tree of Life, across the bridge that leads from Asia to Discovery Island in the shrubbery along the main path
Clue: Is the solution fast or slow? The seahorse's nose knows the answer! It points to 2 creatures that will shed some light on the solution

Clue 2: Africa
Location:On the Creature Comforts signpost just beyond Discovery Island near the gates of Africa
Clue: Are the snakes on the sign above this biting you or me?

Clue 3: Asia
Location: On a sign on the shaded path on the right after you exit Africa and enter Asiz
Clue: Word! Head "up" country if you want to land on the solution to this clue

Clue 4: Expedition Everest
Location: On your way to Expedition Everest, outside Gupta's Gear
Clue: Those who seek out this poster and a clue solution should look towards the heavens for en"light"enment

I was glad that you didn't have to know any Disney trivia. As I wrote on another thread about EEC, what helped me the most was that I had visited AK earlier the day of the race. That way I had a feel for how the park was laid out and a general idea of where things were. I agree that more clues would have been great, although I did run into a lady in the restroom who was having a difficult time with the clues. So probably not everyone would have appreciated more.

Here are pics of my clues:

Clue 1 (Discovery Island)
Location: Fork to the right of the Tree of Life. Across the bridge that leads from Asia to Discovery Island in the shrubbery along the main path.
Clue: Is the solution slow or fast? The seahorse's nose knows the answer! It points to two creatues that will shed some light on the solution.
My Comments: I think this was the hardest clue for me because it took a long time for me to find the seahorse. IIRC, the seahorse was pointing to a sign with two turtles, which is how I knew the answer was slow.

Clue 2 (Africa)
Location: On the columns of the outdoor restaurant seating area that are to the left as you enter Africa from Discovery Island.
Clue: Based on what's behind you if you are standing in front of this sign, what kind of weather would you predict - rain or shine?
My Comments: This was pretty easy because I knew the restaurant they were referring to was Tusker House. The thing behind me looked sort of like a metal shower head, so the answer was rain.

Clue 3 (Asia)
Location: Near an old bicycle vendor cart before the bridge that connects Asia to Discovery Island.
Clue: Look up and you'll see a sign! If you were a young traveler you would 'no' what doesn't belong in the jumble below and you'd "pull out" with the secret word.
My Comments: I can't remember exactly, but I think there must have been a sign with words along the lines of "no night lodging". I crossed out the letters for "night lodging" in the passport and was left with runner as the answer.

Clue 4 (Expedition Everest)
Location: Past the monkeys in Asia as you enter the waterfront area in front of Everest.
Clue: As the Vista you must sneak a peak! At 20,154 (it's not in meters, but in feet) you'll find the name of the mountain that you seek.
My Comments: This clue was a little tricky because I found the shrine in the pictures easily. But the answer was actually on a sign a few feet to the left of the shrine. The sign showed a number of different mountains and I had to match up which mountain was 20,154 feet. The answer was Forbidden Mountain.

Sorry OP I haven't found my clue booklet - 2 of the clues in my book are posted above - so it seems that there while there was different questions there were some that got placed on more than one clue book.

I copied these from the above posts - (my comments added in red)
Clue 3: Asia
Location: On a sign on the shaded path on the right after you exit Africa and enter Asia
Clue: Word! Head "up" country if you want to land on the solution to this clue
With this one there was a print out like word jumble on the sign - I am unsure of what the answer was now

With this one several other people were crowded around and someone blurted out Forbidden Mountain - so I looked and that was the right one so I marked it down. - that also happened with Clue #2 - it was something about the sign as you go into Africa - it asked what kind of "key" was on the sign - someone blurted out mon"key" - so see there is ways to answer even if you can't figure it out
