Who's IN?

Expedition Everest™ Challenge, a race adventure with bite, is coming Saturday, May 7, 2011 to Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Just after sunset, teams of two will brave the mysteries of a thrilling 5K trek with obstacle courses followed by a scavenger hunt. Celebrate conquering this Everest with an exclusive after-hours party at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. If you have what it takes to conquer this challenge then find a teammate and join the trek!


The prices have gone down but it does not look like the price includes a one day park ticket any more.

Individual Registration
* $85 by February 28, 2011
* $95 between March 1 and April 3, 2011
* $105 after April 3, 2011

Team Registration
* $165 by February 28, 2011
* $180 between March 1 and April 3, 2011
* $195 after April 3, 2011

And the moderate host hotel changed to the Carribean Beach Resort.

Does anyone know if you get a 'deal' if you stay at the host resort? My son and I are thinking about taking a long weekend and doing this. He will be 16 by then. It sounds like a blast!

Travel Details
Specially-priced hotel rooms are available for Expedition Everest™ Challenge participants and their friends and family. You are invited to stay "where dreams come true" by booking a room at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Below are the host resorts for the event that are currently available and include transportation to weekend events:

Disney's All-Star Sports Resort - $106 per night
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort - $138 per night
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - $227 per night
