I've been searching online for trips next year and noticed Experia are a lot cheaper for Disney on-site hotels.

If I book the room with Expedia then tickets with Disney will I encounter any problems booking fast passes on the Disney experience app? I've not been to WDW for 5 years so am a bit rusty at planning.

I have never booked a WDW trip through Expedia before, but as long as they give you the Disney booking reference you will be fine. I can't see this being an issue, especially if you pay them up front....just a little sweetener to the deal, quidco are offering 12% cashback on hotel bookings!

Thoigh not for Disney hotels, our experiences with Expedia for hotels, flights etc. has always been positive. They are no different to booking through any other travel agent.

Booked Disney hotels twice through Expedia without issue - they will put your Disney reference on your booking in a few days so you can link it to MDE :)

you'll need to link your hotel ressie (number provided by expedia just like PP said)

and you will also need to link tickets to your MDX account

if you link both hotels and tickets, you'll be able to book FP+ 60 days out
if you only link the tickets you'll be able to book FP+ 30 days out only

Disney doesn't care who you book with. What matters for Fastpass+ is the ticket.
The hotel ressie only gives you a 30 days head start on offsite guests. so just make sure to link both hotel and tickets before your 60 days mark if you care for FP+ like anna&elsa or the dwarves mine train
