Any guesses as to the wait times for Pandora attractions during EMH in the evenings in June?

KC

If DAK offers PM EMH...

The Pandora waits will be off the charts.
And, no FP+.

Consider that the regular hours wait-time will be very substantial, so anyone still in line
at the end of the regular hours will stay in line (WDW resort guest, or not) and make wait
even longer at the start of EMH.

The nightly June PM EMH wait times will be INCREDIBLE-this will be the first time WDW has offered a PM EMH with only TWO attractions available and only ONE "land" open for the PM EMH!

I've been pondering this as well. I think the point missed in the above replies is that Pandora EMH is offered everyday. That is a significant difference compared to EMH offered once or twice a week. Also the Pandora EMH is offered in addition to regular park EMH. For example if you choose to go to Pandora EMH on the same day as MK evening EMH, I think it may not be so bad. Unfortunately, Park EMH doesn't overlap Pandora EMH since Pandora EMH is so late, so people could hop to Pandora after MK EMH, but I still think the impact would be less.

And getting back to the fact that Pandora EMH is everyday, that would be roughly equivalent to an EMH with 7 headliners (if considering 2 EMH a week is the norm) or EMH with 14 headliners (if considering 1 EMH a week is the norm). Looking at it that way, it doesn't seem so bad.

Oh, and First week of June will be different than later in June. I expect Pandora to get hit hard the first week.

Common sense and an educated guess says it will be extremely crowded.

BUT,Pandora is BRAND new and EVERYBODY will want to go and some will want to go to MULTIPLE PM EMHs unlike the the usual PM EMH everybody is used to going to and can "take it or leave it".

Then you factor in "regular" Guests who will be in line for the rides at 11:00 PM and the "regular" Guests who will just tour Pandoar during the PM EMH and the place is going to be SLAMMED every night during PM EMH.

I'll be so curious to see how this plays out. It's SO LATE that I think a lot of people won't bother attending. I was surprised when my 60 day window opened up that I was able to have my pick of times for the banshee ride on a weekend day. Maybe people don't want to use their fastpasses for it. Maybe they WILL expect to use the daily EMH to ride. This sure isn't SDMT...

I have no doubt it will be busy and popular, but I don't think it will be slammed every night. Although "slammed" means different things to different people. AK will be open from 9AM to 1AM for the entire month. That's a lot of hours for everybody to see it. Frozen Ever After had 5 hour waits (300 minutes) on 9AM-9PM operating hours. Assuming the capacity of Pandora is better than Frozen Maelstrom, plus the fact that there are two rides, and add on 9PM-1AM (33% more operating hours). I'd say peak waits are looking around 120 minutes (that's my wild guess). A lot will depend on how awesome the rides are and how much people want to re-ride.

And I don't think peak will occur at 11PM. So the way I look at it is, do I think Pandora EMH will have longer or shorter waits than 9AM-11PM? I'm going with shorter. EMH in the past has had a concentrating effect, but since Pandora EMH is everyday, it is more like longer operating hours.

But you are right, it is all a guess. But guessing is fun. Don't hold me to it though!

[On reflection 120 minutes might be too low. More people are willing to get into a 120 minute line than a 200 minute line]

I booked onsite to use the EMH for Pandora...not realizing it could still be a terrible wait.

The 2 weekly AM EMHs will be more "valuable" than the nightly PM EMHs because "regular" Guests can't get in,many EMH eligible Guests won't get up that early and other areas of DAK will be open for the AM EMHs and EVERYBODY won't be "contained" in Pandora.

Our plan is to be at the DAK tapstiles by 7:15 AM-that should put us near the front of the line-head to Pandora at Park Open and ride one of the rides-should be very little wait time-and then hang out in Pandora for an hour or so until it starts to get slammed and then repeat the plan and ride the other ride at the second AM EMH of our trip.:)

WEDWDW - your logic makes sense. I wasn't going to use the AK AM EMH (made MK FP for that day). Maybe we should do AK for the EMH in an attempt to do one of the Pandora rides then go to MK.

Just wanted to point out that AK will be opening at 8:00am every day until July 4, with 7:00am morning EMH's.

Thanks-forgot about the 8:00 AM opens.

That will make the AM EMHs even more valuable-considerably less Guests will beat at a 7:00 AM EMH as opposed to an 8:00 AM EMH!:)

I forgot that DAK will open at 8:00 AM,so the 7:15 AM arrival should be 6:15 AM-these 7:00 AM EMHs will be AWESOME in Pandora!:)

I am guessing that Disney will rethink this for EMH only being for Pandora. I bet the crowds will be insanely BUSY and they will end up opening up EE and Dinosaur. That is what I am hoping.

Isn't Pandora that place everyone hated and said they'd never go to?

Yea, it'll be crowded. I'm glad the crowds will die down by our next trip in August 2018.
