I can't speak for anyone else but to me that it's a big deal paying more for stuff when my paycheck can only do so much I have squeezed it as much as I possibleWhy is everyone crapping a brick, so to speak, over news like this? You need to drive, you need gas, you'll figure out how to pay for everything. No sense in giving yourself an ulcer - do you really want the high medical expenses in the coming months, too?
This is just silly. If people really thought oil would be at $150 a barrel by 7/4, it would be at $150 today.
It just hit $139. Give it a few days.

I have recently read and seen on TV instances where people are finding the money needed for gas to go to work by cutting back on a meal or two for a day or by not running the AC even though the inside temps are 98 degrees or instead of taking the required 1 pill twice a day they just take one pill per day. Many others are just going to food banks because they don't even have enough for 1 meal per day.
I think the statement made is just a little insensitive towards the difficulties many American families are facing.

I've heard it predicted to be $5.00 a gallon by the end of summer. It is only going to go up--at least until after the election. Then maybe it will slowly come down a little and the POTUS will look good already. I think this is what the fortuneteller told me anyway.
So now instead of seniors choosing their medication over groceries and eating dog food instead, it will be drivers choosing gasoline over even eating just dog food!![]()
There is no choice not like with the Starbucks etc.No way, eating dog food can be too dangerous (remember China).
I have family members that work for our state as teachers and law enforcement. They are says the state is getting ready for $6 a gallon by the fall.
I don't doubt it. Our local law enforcement has already been struggling w/budget. To add this onto it will just wreak havoc. Patroling wll be so costly.
Gas prices affect everyone in many different ways. Truly we are too dependent on others for what we consume so much of.
