Exiting after wishes. Yikes!

Yeah- PR nightmare, hadn't put it into that perspective. This will be my first trip in the continental US without a vehicle. Giving up that type of control has me moderately freaked out. I am excited for the whole not having to drive thing, but lack of control is not my thing. Everything I read says buses run about an hour after park closure, then there is the 45 minute lines to get on the buses, hanging back behind those crowds when leaving the park, etc. Mathematically I wasn't able to wrap my head around the time constrainsts of all that. Thanks though for talking me off the ledge.
From some years back......

If we stick around as suggested, can I get a Dole Whip or will Aloha Isle be closed already?
It will be closed.

I know no one will be stranded at one of the parks, but I've always wondered just how they know all the visitors have caught one of the buses. It just seems like it would be really easy for someone to be left behind. And I don't ever want it to be me. :)

My husband and I position ourselves near the exit while watching Wishes, so we're always at the front of the hoard. With that strategy, we usually catch the first bus that arrives after we reach the stop. We are fast walkers!
The problem I had was we were in a quick trip. 2 days and 2 nights and my daughter and grandkids wanted ride rides to the very end. My suggestion was your plan. Nope. Payed the price!
