Exercise other than lunges/squats?

I am having problems with my knees and especially my left knee. I can do squats for a little bit, but my knee starts to give out. Is there another good exercise that works like a squat? Or works the booty well?
 
Absolutely!!!

Quads: do you belong to a gym? if so, they probably have a leg extension and a leg curl machine. If you have the weight set right it should not hurt your knees at all as you work out those muscles.

Glutes: side laying work: lay down on one side w/ your legs slightly to the front of your body and lift that top leg up and down 10X, then do small circles 10x one way then 10x the other way, etc etc. Get creative in your movements and next thing you know you're booty will be burning!

Another suggestion; attend a sculpting class for some creative ides to work the legs!

Thank you! My knee is yelling at me this morning along with my lower back, I think I may have protecting my knee and using my back to much. So heat and IBP this morning for me.
