We are going to be at disney soon & we are going at a leisure pace over 10 days with my parents. Where can I get in some exercise? That is not including walking around the parks as my parents wont want to go any faster than a snails pace. Is there any walking trails on the all star resorts??? Any suggestions? I currently walk 5-10 miles a day & lift weights 2-3 & dont want to gain while i am there!! Thanks!!!! Sarah

I never want to gain while I am at Disney either, but it is something that is a must for me! :rotfl: I can't go to Disney without enjoying myself - you know Mickey Bars!

I dont think they have a walking trail at that resort - I guess your best bet is swimming! Even if you dont consider walking the park an exercise, it is. It doesn't matter how fast you walk in the long run the miles will add up - trust me! :)

Swimming laps early in the a.m. b4 everyone else gets to the pool is a great idea.

There is also a link in the thread I am putting her for trails in WDW which includes a map to the All Star Resorts.

You are doing it!

Thanks for the reply & suggestions disneyfan06 & tigerlily03....

Also thanks for the link tigerlily! I am hoping to start running soon with a goal of working up to a marathon at disney so that link is VERY helpful!!!

Good news of your goal. You can do it if I can. I did my first marathon this January and my first half marathon last January at WDW with the WISH Team.

They are a great group of people with all ability levels willing to help everyone get to their goal. Stop by the events thread and jump in and say hi to the walkers/runners on the weekly thread.

Don't be shy. All are welcome!

Hey gracie, even though there are no walking trails at the All-stars, maybe you can like walk from resort to resort because that would be a great way to see all of the different types of buildings in the All-stars and also it would be a good long walk for you. Or you can just do a little trail around the music becasue each All star is pretty big and you could just walk around the music a few times and that would also be a great exercise. I hope my suggestions help you out. :) Have fun in Disney!
