Excuse me, you'll need to see security. What has Mickeystoontown done? Update 3/25x2

So close now! I can't wait to see more pictures of CBR, I miss it already. (and apparently am too lazy to look at the 8567 I took myself :lmao:)

I don’t know which sign scares me the most....the “nudey” billboards or the warning poisonous snake sign. :scared1:

I think the snake one scares me more, because I now know where to "swing" by and get the venom sucked out!:rotfl2:'

"Lord please forgive me and may God bless the Pygmies in New Guinea"

I am so glad you post all the pictures that you do along the way. These are things you don't see while flying. That Presidents place looks interesting!

Thanks for the heads up when you came back home and when you started the TR!! Sorry it took me so long to check it out!

HOWDY!! (See I follow instructions sometimes)

Never heard of the Elvis tree but did see discover Elvis was here while waiting for one of the SW shows behind Muppet Vision.

What is that "spaceship earth thing"? There use to be a dome like that in Winter Haven for the Cleveland Indians for indoor practice.

Whew! Glad you didn't have to call ghost busters!

Gotta love motels that have biscuit and gravy on their continental breakfast!!

Those poisonous snake signs are unnerving!! At one of the FL stops there is a poster of what both juevenile and adult poisonous snakes look like. I just don't want to be seeing ANY snake!!! (JJ saw one today while we were in the pool swimming. Thank God for a screen in pool!!!)

Oh and I forgot to mention that Masters Commission is a great program!! So glad she had the opportunity to participate. We have one at our church. Grumpy had considered going, but opted for freshman year at college first.

Yay for safe and smooth travels (and not getting bothered by the ghosts at the Inn!!). That truck definitely had a ton of oranges on it!

Hope you got a great room!! :goodvibes

So you don't take the Turnpike in, do you? I don't think we go through Clermont or past any of those weird buildings--I know I'd remember those! :lmao:

We take 75 to the Turnpike, then get on I-4 for a bit. I can't stand those billboards, either!

/
We take the turnpike also. The couple times we took it there was very little traffic it was nice.

Can't wait to read about the rest of your trip.

Those billboards are all over the place on I95 too. But I'd be more worried about the snakes. I can just not go to the 'Erotica Cafe', but I have to use the restroom sometimes! :rotfl:

Great pictures, as always! :thumbsup2

I have a picture very much like the poisonous snakes sign picture in your post from our trip down there in 2010! It made me more than a little nervous - kept the kids close by! :scared:

Kinda glad we're flying down this October...the youngest is starting to read pretty well, and he doesn't stay glued to his video games like the other two so he actually notices what is out the window! Those signs are just too much...

Can't wait to see where your room was! We loved CBR in 2010!

I finally made it to your TR!!! It's going great so far :) Glad the "haunted" Inn didn't bring out any spooks for you guys. LOL Did you tell them about that before you went?? or wait until after you left? haha.

I can't beleive how many pages in you are already!!! i've been neglecting my tr as well as others bc of being busy with DD's grade 8 grad but I hope to keep up on your tr more now :) Can't wait to hear more!!

I just finished your PTR, jumped on here and geez louise...9 pages already???!!!:scared1: My DH is going to wonder what I do all day if I keep spending too much time on the Disboards.;)

Love the TR so far. Sorry, but I couldn't see Elvis in the tree.:confused3 Loved the nudie and snake signs though.

And yes, I do believe that's what the gates of heaven will look like.:littleangel:

Oh I almost forgot...HOWDY!

Woo hoo - you're almost to CBR!

I totally agree with you about those WDW gates. They are the entrance to my (and I'm sure a LOT of other people's) little slice of heaven on earth! :goodvibes

Can't wait to hear where you got assigned at CBR and to see pics of your room!

I'm subbing! I love your TR Lisa, they always crack me up.

Firstly, I can totally see Elvis in that tree! You'd be crazy not to see it.

My fiance and I also enjoy reading those goofy signs down the highway in Florida. Our personal favorite is the Risque Cafe. We discussed at length what is really was. :rotfl2: I won't go into details but you get the idea. He suggested (jokingly) we stop there for lunch to which I made a face like this:

You have the same packing strategy I do for the trip down to florida. I seriously couldn't imagine having to pack for that many different parts of the trip. You had your work cut out for you lady! Also I had the Tetris theme song playing in my head while reading about the car packing puzzle.

Can't wait to hear more from you and you're gang!

I've missed TWO updates??? No worries, though. I'm caught up. YAY for arriving at Disney World!!! And that pick-your-own citrus place - we loved it. That monster truck bus in their parking lot -- we took a ride in that. It was about an hour long, and they took us all over the groves. The tour guide was great, giving lots of informational tid-bits.

I just caught up on all of your updates, Yay! you are there! Can't wait to see your room.
