There really WAS a fly in my dinner tonight *BLEAH* Luckily I look before I eat. I cooked the dinner so it must have landed in there either as I was putting it in the oven or just after I took it out
GROSS



On the other hand I have absolutely NO desire to eat anything ever again!


Have you ever had anything in your food that wasnt supposed to be there?

Yepper depper (as DH would say).

Made oatmeal for DH one morning (I hate the stuff), and he started to put a spoonful in his mouth. I was setting a glass of juice on the table and looked at his cereal. I asked him what the heck are those dark specks in there? (I must have been asleep while cooking it).

Eww, Eww, there were little oatmeal bugs in his oatmeal. So double gross! Oatmeal AND bugs!

Before I left work today, I went to take a sip of water and there was a dead spider in the cup. Yuck!

I once got an egg roll with glass in it. It was very odd to be eating an egg roll and all of a sudden be crunching on something hard. Needless to say, I got my meal for free.

I was once eating a green salad from roomservice at a resort in WDW...and as I was eating it a little green inch worm wiggled across the rim of the plate. Ick Ick Ick!

When I was in 4th grade my bowl of chili had a cricket in it.... the lunch lady said it must have gotten canned in with the beans. I don't really care HOW it got there, YUCK!! Seriously, what could be worse but tomatoes and a cricket in the same bowl???? So, now for the good part...due to the cricket, I was not made to eat my chili..... which for obvious reasons, I HATE!

I found what looked like a cat toenail in my wonton from chinese takeout -- it was a new eating place in town. I freaked! I LOVE chinese food -- and this just turned me off for awhile -- it was in wonton soup. I called the State food dept and they came and picked it up. Checked out the resturant and they seemed to be an okay place. They came to the conclusion that it probably came from the feed mill where the rice or flower came from. They said that 'things' can often get mixed in at the mill by accident. YUCK!
