last year we (me, husband and two daughters, now aged 9 and 5) went on the 4-day disney wonder and had so much fun, we had to book a 7-day for this year. next month we are going on the eastern to antigua and st thomas, along with my husband's parents, his sister/husband and three kids (aged 13, 9 and 4). we are so excited. we want to go on an excursion only on either antigua or st. thomas, not both....but cannot seem to decide. help! any comments on snorkeling and beaches on both of these stops?

Just got back last week from our cruise. We went snorkeling on our own to Trunk Bay at St. John's. I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful it was. My DH, DD's 16 and 13, DS 6 and I enjoyed it so much. If you get the chance, I highly suggest you go.

thanks. we will definitely look into trunk bay. if you did it on your own, can you give me some pointers? how much did it save you not to use disney for this excursion? also, is the beach in trunk bay also good? the little ones may not want to go snorkeling....or on second thought, can little ones go?

I went on the Eastern in January this year and went snorkeling at Trunk Bay. It is one beautiful place. I am not one for swimming in ocean water but I ventured right out there....you could see your feet and the floor is nothing but sand. I couldnt get enough of the beauty of this excursion and would not hesitate one bit to re=book this excursion the next time I sail East. I am going Western January 05 and hope I have the same experience on those excursions. Good luck and enjoy your cruise
