When and how do you book excursions for Nassau and Castaway Cay????

You will be able to call 60 days prior to your cruise, you can do it by phone, or fax.
It starts getting so real when you have your excursions all booked....

And, do you pay with credit card when you book? If so, all or part?

From Disney's Excursion Letter

Excursion reservations can be made up to 60 days prior to sailing and are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Just complete the Shore Excursion Request Form (you should receive it after final payment) and fax it back to 407-556-7031 or contact our Special Services Desk at 1-877-566-0968. A Special Services representative will confirm availabilty and participants for each excursions selected, and mail or fax back your confirmation document.

You can make additional requests or alterations up to 2 days prior to sailing. After that, new requests, refunds and changes to reservations can no longer be accomodated.

Your excursion tickets will be delivered to your stateroom on embarkation day

What is that?? I didn't get one with my docs. We were planning an excursion on CC, but thought you can book on the ship.

My travel agent got a fax from DCL with the excursion listing and a booking sheet, which she sent to me about 2 weeks before my final payment was due. I actually paid a week early so I could be sure they had record of it before I phoned 60 days prior to book my excursion. I'm pleased to say that on the 3rd try, my daughter will finally get to go on the dolphin encounter as she's been wanting!

We didn't receive anything either! We made our final payment in Nov. (for March sailing) though it wasn't due until Jan.

I'd really like to pre-book a couple of excursions! I guess I should call my TA. OR is there some other way, like right through the DCL website?

YOu don't really need the form, you can just call the number, all of the excursions are listed on the Disney cruise line website under FUN ONSHORE.
I will be walking on the magic 6 weeks from today
